Hey guys. I hope someone can figure this out with me. I've looked on the main website for the meanings but they don't make sense in this case.

Last night I had a a dream that it was night (outside) and I was with one of my friend's mother. She said something about me having to kill 10-11 wolves as a task. So I jump down from a balcony we were on, I turn around and my friend's mother is handing me a pair of scissors. I take the scissors, take them apart (as to make two daggers), and head towards a pack of wolves. The wolves start out vicious and attacking, but the more I killed, the more kind and domesticated they became. I stabbed them in the heads with the scissors, but as soon as they entered the skulls the scissors turned into arrows (so I was holding an arrow while in the wolves head). I remember feeling disturbed, in a sad way, because I love animals (especially dogs) and I hate cruelty, and the wolves seemed harmless; they've not done anything to warrant being killed. Then I woke up.

Thanks in advance to anyone helping me! I've never had a dream like this and it's eating me up inside; I still feel sad about it. Embarrassed

Night - symbolizes the subconscious, and transition from dark to light. The night might also symbolize you feeling uncertain about the future.
A nighttime setting is common to many dreams. However, extreme darkness suggests that you are hiding something or are unwilling to see things clearly. You may be the type who likes to ignore, minimize, or hide problems. The darkness represents a lack of awareness and illumination.
If you honestly look at the content of your dream, you may be able to identify some areas of your life or personal experience that need warmth, light, and airing.

Friend's mother - Usually our dreams are filled with people. We dream about our families, our friends, our neighbors, and our classmates. We dream about strangers, colleges, famous people, teachers, and, at times, our supposed enemies. Each dream is very special and carries its own unique message. When interpreting this dream with people in it, consider all of the details and the feelings in the dream. If the person is known to you, think about your relationship with him or her and the issues that the dream has brought up. We learn about ourselves through others, and probably our most valuable possessions are our relationships.
Mother - represents, nurturing, wisdom, the subconscious, intuition, natural and instinctive life, and more experienced part of feminine self aspect. Also, your relationship with your mother.

Telling of a task you must perform - suggests there is a task, duty, or chore in your waking life that you find distateful, but may be necessary.

Killing - Expressing violence in a dream by killing someone, or something, may indicate that you are extremely angry in waking life: angry with yourself or with another person or the society, in general...or whatever the thing you killed represents.. This dream comes as a relief of your bad emotions and repressed negative feelings and it contributes to your ability to remain in control.
Wolves - Wolves may have positive or negative meaning and may represent good or evil in dreams. They could represent hostility, aggression, sneakiness, and ferocious appetites. In some cultures, wolves represent feminine energies and in others masculine. In the Native American culture and tradition, the wolf is a symbol of a mysterious and wonderful teacher. Wolves are considered to be powerful guides who offer wisdom and enlightenment.
A wolf may also symbolize all that you are afraid of in yourself, particularly what you see as "animal", aggressive and destructive. Probably your fear is irrational and stems from a traumatic childhood experience. This "werewolf" anxiety is a fairly common ingredient in literature. It is nearly always a consequence of repressed instinct, usually sexual.

10 - 11 :
The number ten appears seldom in dreams. Sometimes number ten as 1 and 0 indicates the dreamer's loneliness. A new phase in life is beginning that is born of the emptiness of the zero. You are starting something new, but need to rely on the experiences of the past. The ten is the symbol of rebirth and perhaps of a new career.
The number eleven is a master number which strengthens the effect of two. It is often the symbol of an illegal union of two people. Sometimes eleven is the symbol of your desire for good long-term relationship.
In numerology, the number eleven would be 1 + 1= 2 ... is a symbol of partnership, dualism, contrasts, light and dark, polarity, contradictions. Two is the symbol of the moon and regarded as feminine. It stands for sensitivity, gentleness, rich imagination, creative talents, idealism and romance. This number tells you that everything has two sides and encourages you to reconcile contradictions and opposites or to balance them. Also the number two may be a symbol of conflict between two parts of yourself.(logical /emotional, happy/angry, responsible/carefree, etc)

Balcony - a symbol of relaxation, a wider viewpoint, getting away from involvement. Accessing parts of oneself that have been hidden and now are available. Also, a need or desire to be noticed.
Jumping off of something suggests wanting to get out of a situation ...which is represented by what you jumped from. In this case, the balcony.

Scissors - symbolizes the cutting away  of what no longer benefits you, or a fear of being 'cut off'. Might be representative of the desire to break away from something or someone. Could also symbolize cutting remarks.

Make into daggers - Daggers, knives, and swords could represent significant feelings of anger toward yourself and others. If you kill or wound a perceived enemy in your dream, your unconscious mind may be encouraging you to conquer your fears.

Wolves were vicious, became docile when you killed them - suggests that the more anger you released, the better you felt.

Stabbed them in their head (violence) - represents the facets of personality that never get displayed in waking life, and can become quite animated. Nowhere is this more apparent than with violent behavior. The violence may be justified or random, but it is often extremely graphic. It is so graphic, in fact, that you should understand that this is normal, although upsetting, and that it's presence is almost always an exaggeration of another point.

Arrow - represents something that hasreally gotten into us....like hurtful remarks or actions, being 'pierced' by a powerful emotion such as love, turning attention inward in a wounding way, also could represent a message of love,  endeavor, or opportunity.

Disturbed and sad - To dream that you are sad, signifies a positive turn of events. That you recognize destructive behavior, and are willing to try and resolve it.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Have you had an argument, or disagreement with someone recently?
Did you say something you regret?
Adversely...do you 'hold your tongue, but are now wishing you had said something?
Do you have an anger issue with someone in your waking life?
Are you angry with yourself for something you did, or didn't, do?
Do you feel 'conflicted' about an important decision you need to make, or a job you need to do?
I hope this helps you out...good luck!
Thanks JayRae. This does clear some things up. Just recently (this past January) my family and I moved from Colorado, USA to the countryside of Suffolk, UK where it's pretty lonely and secluded. I'm 19 years old and had just got hired for a perfect job, about a month before moving, and since we moved here I've been without work or friends, so it's been kinda frustrating. My mother is English and wanted to move back here, which is understandable, but I've been thinking whether it would have been better if I had stayed in the States or not. Anyways, thanks for clearing up some stuff for me!  Smiley
I'm glad I could help. I understand your dilemma. But there's at least one good thing about where you moved to...
In the UK, they speak english. Thank God you didn't have to move to someplace where you didn't know the language.
Luck & Happiness,
J
