PLEASE help me figure this one out.

I am in my late 30's, pregnant and a mobile bookkeeper just to give you an idea of me.

This afternoon I dreamt that I was in a butchers office in a shopping centre doing the books.  I have no idea which shopping centre and haven't ever done someones books in a shopping centre.  While I was working this man dressed in a butchers uniform walked in, I asked if I could help him, he just looked at me and walked back out the door.  I went out of the office to get something and when I came back after some time I walked back into the office and this man was coming out of another door beside the office.  I asked him what did he want and he said nothing and walked out again.  I then felt concerned but didn't know why, I checked the side room which seem ok and went back to my desk.  As I was going past my desk I noticed a red sock with something in it on my desk and out of the corner of my eye I saw movement through the door of the bathroom beside the office.  When I opened the door I found a young aboriginal girl (around 9 or 10) well dressed with blood all over her and straddling the toilet, she was obviously distressed.  I said to her did that man do this to you, did he rape you and she was sobbing her little heart out and said yes.  I just scooped her up in my arms and ran screaming out into the shopping centre someone ring the police this little girl has been raped.  As I was running and screaming for help I saw the man again and yelled at him you sick B**** and yelled for someone to stop him.  In this dream the time it took to get out the door and screaming for help felt like an eternity and no one would even pick up a phone for me.  Then there was this shop with lots of phones and this kind man just pick up the phone and passed it to me and pressed 000 for me.  While I was waiting for someone to answer I woke up and felt so distraught I had to tell my husband about it and then hours later I told some friends we were bbqing with as its really bugging me as to why I would dream such a horrific thing.

I have never suffered this kind of abuse, infact I regard myself as very lucky person, I have a beautiful family and life is great, sure theres the stress of finances just like the rest of the world but I don't have any bad or sad things going on in my life so any ideas or opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Work - represents concerns or issues connected with your work....including a 'job' you need to do at home.
Dreaming that you are at work, indicates that you are experiencing some anxiety about a current project or task. The dream may also be telling you that you need to "get back to work". Perhaps you feel you have been slacking and need to pick up the pace.

Shopping Center - represents desires, something you are looking for or want...love, fame, sex. Also business, and work.

Butcher - represents some form of aggression, either directed towards others, or from others towards yourself. May also relate to dealing with parts of your life that are 'dead', but still hold useful experiences.

Red Sock -
Red - Red is an active, affective color, full of passion and emotion. It may symbolize passion, luck, joy, happiness, energy, action, sexuality, revolution, warning, danger....but also hate, anger, sin, greed, irritability and will power. As the color of blood, red is also the symbol of life.
A softer red is a symbol of love, mercy and compassion.
Light red stands for warmth and affection.
When intense, red can also indicate hatred, sin, rage.
Dark red is a symbol of passion, greed, energy and anger.

Socks - these are often used in dreams to represent the personal quality, cleanliness, or untidiness of a person. They depict some sort of judgement about what sort of person you are, or how you perceive someone else. Socks can also be associated with warmth or protection from a difficult situation.
A single sock may suggest you feel that you, or something else, is incomplete...ie: one half of the whole. Could be the need for more information in order to complete a task, or to make a decision...etc.
Alternatively, it may be a pun for hitting someone or being hit, or that you may have been hit, or 'socked', with some surprising information or news.

Aboriginal Girl:
Black person - depends on your own skin color. If you are white, a black person would represent your natural drives, urges, longings, and emotions uncluttered by intricate social taboos; your own feelings about black people (or if the person is known or reminds you of someone specific, what you feel about him/her); your own unexpressed or repressed 'self'; a 'shadow' figure depicting a depressed or unaccepted aspect of yourself; feeling downtrodden.
If you are black, the black person representation would be as with any other 'person' dream.

Aborigine/Aboriginal - represents both your untamed, natural self and your innocent side. It suggests feeling unified with nature, and having an intuitive wisdom.
Alternately, it may suggest that you are being overindulgent or overly emotional.

Blood - Life's energy source. Love, passion, anger, and life itself. A vital part of our physiology and it may symbolize our strengths and weaknesses and our physical, emotional, and/or spiritual energy health. If you are currently experiencing a very difficult time, or facing a difficult decision, in your life, you may have dreams with bloody or frightening images. Don't worry, you may just be venting your fears, and emotions.

Toilet - symbolizes emotional relief, or unloading unwanted pressure. It suggests that you feel the need to release pent up emotions, or to be rid of something in your life that is useless.

Rape - Dreaming about rape, or the possibility of it, is a nightmare that inflicts fear and anxiety upon recall. Since rape is a brutal and deeply personal violation, it suggests that the dreamer may be feeling robbed of options and negated as a human being. In a dream, as in real life, rape has very little to do with sex. It is about power, control, anger, and other very destructive emotions. In order to understand this dream, you may need to think about the areas of your life that causes you great anxiety and fear. It may also be a warning from your subconscious to take precautions, protect yourself emotionally and physically and don't engage in careless behavior.

Rescue - In dreams of rescuing, you are either doing the rescuing or are in need of being rescued.
If you are doing the rescuing, you likely see yourself as a leader, shepherd, parent, or role model to others. Who, or what you rescue, what you rescue them, or it from, and how you did it, often reveals how you see yourself within a particular network of relationships.

Telephone - a symbol with which we are expressing a need, or desire, to communicate with ourselves, or others. Your subconscious, intuition, or even your friends and family, may be trying give you information, or advice, that you have been unwilling to listen to, or that you may be forced to confront issues which you have tried to avoid.

No one would help - suggests that sometimes you feel as though you do not have the support you need. That you must do things yourself.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Is there some decision or task that you need to do....work or at home?
Is there some specific goal, or object, you are trying to obtain?
Do you feel aggression directed towards you, or feel that you need to be more aggressive?
Has some new information come to you, or are you in need of more information?
Have you become angry with anyone recently?
Do you feel stifled, or repressed, in any area of your life?
Is there something in your life you are seeing as wasteful, or useless?
Has someone tried to dominate you, or use their status to intimidate you?
Are you trying to set an example, or be a role model, for others in your life?
Are you having a communication problem in any area of your waking life, or feel the need to talk with someone?
Are you lacking support in any area of your life?
Hope this allays some of the fear, or anxiety, this dream caused.
Hugs & Hope,
J
