I am the Destroyer. I stand beside the Creator and away from the Believer.I
really like this phrase. Here's my take on it, A.Itruth. It may or may not make sense to you, depending on what you believe in.
The "destroyer" is Satan. The "creator" is God. The "believer" is the people who believe in (whoever).
Although every version of the Bible out there depicts Satan as being as far away from Heaven as possible, it MAY mean that although God is the Creator, there needs to be a Destroyer to keep the balance in the universe. By that, I mean this: If every living thing is immortal, how do we eat, clothe & provide shelter for ourselves & our loved ones? We can't kill an animal for their hides & for their meat--they're immortal as well. So any attempt at getting food will fail because they're immortal.
Considering that & the fact that there are what? 3 billion? people on the planet right now, it'd be quite a mess. Imagine 12 billion immortal people. Try imagining us living alongside dinosaurs & cavemen, as well as all the people who died Atlantis, the cities of Pompeii & Herculaneum that were destroyed by volcanic eruptions, people who died in WWI & II... You can't, right? That's where the Destroyer (Satan) comes in. He helps God create the balance within the world so that we CAN kill animals to feed & clothe ourselves. It also "allows" every creature on Earth to die so that there'll be enough room for new ones to come in.
So God & Satan
stand by each other because they're the Yin to each other's Yang. You
stand apart from the believer because they try to force you to believe in either one or the other ("you go to heaven, or you go to hell"), & not giving you choices to believe that there's a third way ("maybe there's a Purgatory we go to").
I hope this helps you to understand your phrase.
