In the start of my dream I slide under the couch. The room isn't slanted, or tipped. It is almost like being dragged by an unseen force. I am not afraid. My family is sitting on the couch and I look out from under the couch at my husband. He asks me what i am doing under the couch and I tell him I have no idea. Of course he tells me to get out of there and I find that I can't, like I am being held. So he grabs my arms and pulls me out, but my leg is broken. I can see the broken bone holding up my skin, but not poking through the skin. Then I wake up. Any ideas?

Wow, that is a strange one!   Shocked

Being dragged under the couch might indicate that you feel that life has somehow forced you to a position of menial base activities, which doesn't really upset you, but it's not really where you belong.  Your husband represents the logical side of your mind, which is pointing out that your position is not where you truly should be.  It is logic and reason that gets you out of your position, but you are still unable to walk in freedom and dignity because something inside of you is broken.

The dream is calling you to two things:  1) find out what is keeping you in a low position, and use reason and logic to bring yourself to a position of dignity.  2)  Find healing for inner wounds that do not allow you to move freely through life.

Does that make any sense?  Let me know if that doesn't seem to work for you; we can try other ideas.
Best wishes!

Hey, another idea...
I went to a dream dictionary to look up "couch," and it said:

To see or dream that you are on a couch, represents rest, relaxation, laziness or boredom. It may also mean you need to clear you mind and thoughts. Consider also who is on the couch with you as the dream may also have sexual connotations.

So my idea, since you are "under" the couch, and the couch can symbolize "rest," maybe your dream is saying you are "under-rested," or not getting enough rest!  Hmmm. More food for thought.  Let me know what you think!
