Three nights ago I dreamed that there were people playing cards together, and I was watching.  Eventually I noticed that the deck they were using was really really big, and the reason was because there were a bunch of different kinds of decks mixed together.  I was told I had to sort them out.  I grabbed the large pile of cards and started separating it into piles of similar-backed cards.  Some had red backs, some had blue, some had floral patterns, some had famous characters, some had other patterns, etc...  And some cards had images that moved as if they were alive, and others had patterns on the back that were in code (like so-called "magic" cards.)   So I had a big job ahead of me.  One of my thoughts was, "I wonder if, when I'm finally done, each pile will be complete, or if there will be cards missing."
Adding to the difficulty of my work was that the people were still playing their game, so I couldn't have all the cards at once.  I had to watch them, wait until they put a card on the table, then grab it and place it in the appropriate pile.  I felt that this job would take a really long time to finish.
And I really marveled that they could even be playing at all, with all the cards mixed up.  It was bound to mess up the game!

I was so encouraged by this dream, even though I was put off by the difficult task.  The meaning is so clear!  It really gives me insight into my own heart, and lets me know what I need to do.  Thank you Lord!
* The basic meaning of this dream is that I have a lot of issues I need to work out.  Right now everything is mixing together in my subconscious and causing confusion. 
*  I need to sort things into their proper categories first.  After that, I need to work on "completion," i.e. resolution, to these issues. (That's what it meant when I wondered if each pile would be complete.)
* The fact that the game was still going on, even though I had this work to do means that life is still throwing things at me, even though I haven't processed the things that have already happened.  The "game goes on."  Looking at this scenario in the dream, if I were there in real life, the logical step would be to find a way somehow to STOP THE GAME while I did my work.  It only added to my difficulty.  Could I do this?  What can I cut out of my life to give me more space to breathe?
*  Marveling that they could be playing at all with such a messed up deck shows that my confusion/overwhelmedness is really affecting my whole life and my ability to function. 
*  The cards with moving images tell me that some issues I'm dealing with are spiritual. There are living beings behind some of these issues. (Notice the pun! Behind the issue=behind the card)  Some of them may have God behind them.  Some may have other beings.  I won't know until I sort it out and explore.
*  The cards that had images that were in code make me think that some of these issues are here to serve a purpose beyond what they look like.  In other words, God is speaking in code to tell me something bigger.
