Evening All,

I'm new to this forum, last night had had a dream that I had a little "skin tag" on the outside of my left thigh. Within minutes this piece of skin started to swell & grow into what I can only describe of a large 'coral' shaped structure that in my dream I took to be a tumour, it also looked a bit like the inside of a lung and was pulsing and starting to bleed slightly.

On seeing the blood I panicked, shouting that I need to go to the hospital, convinced if it ruptured I would be in serious trouble. At the time in the dream I was helping my friend get her new pub ready for it's opening night.

Any ideas would be most welcome on it's meaning Undecided

Tumors - suggest that some repressed memory or feeling remains unsettled and is threatening to emerge into your consciousness.. or a part of yourself, or a belief, has gone awry.

Coral/lung(irregular) shape - Shapes are visual symbols of the internal, psychological structure. Because the mind, and our emotions, appear so abstract, it's hard to have a clear image of our differences when compared with other people. Shapes, symbols, patterns, and textures gives us an 'image' of our inner world.
Because of the irregular shape, it suggests you feel your life is a bit chaotic, or unstructured, at the moment.

Bleeding - Blood is a symbol of vitality. Bleeding suggests a "weakening" of your energies and frustration at this moment in your life. Dreaming about bleeding usually points to the emotional wounds that you don't acknowledge, or are just becoming aware of.

Leg - Legs symbolize support, motivation, the emotional, and physical, strength you use to get about in life. We may depend on others for support at home, work, or school for self-value. But, ultimately, our legs represent our emotional, or conceptual(idealistic), and personal support system. (Example: ..."Standing on my own two feet"..."I don't have a leg to stand on"...)

Left leg - The left side represents inner feelings that support outer actions, such as confidence, self-assurance, faith, beliefs, and our 'lesser-used', supportive functions.

Expessing the need to go to Hospital - a symbol of care and recovery. You may be feeling the need for physical, psychological, emotional, or spiritual healing.

Have you lost faith, or confidence, in yourself, or something/someone you believed in?
Do you feel a sort of loss because of something you learned about someone, or something?
Do you feel 'let down' by someone you thought was a friend?
Did someone turn out to be the opposite of what you expected?
Did some situation prove to be a negative experience, or worse than you thought it would be?

I hope this gives you some insight to your dream.
Best wishes!

Hi Jayrea,

Thanks for you insight, it actualy sums up quite alot about how I'm feeling at the moment.

Ovver the last two years I have lost a lot of close friends all of whom revolved around drinking & partying n this particular pub, we all used to meet in this pub, as it was our place, now another friend (totally different to the ones I hung aroud with, she was like the big sister to me) is taking it over and I will be forced to meet these people again, there was one I relied on especially as emotional & physical support. I have now re-married and I really dont know how this 'meeting' of old tribe members is going to affect my steady, if not a litttle staid & boring life that I have gotten used too.

I think the question is, will I or do I want to run with the old pack again, and what if they wont accept me? How will I handle that?

Now that you've had a chance to step back for a while, I'm sure you will do what's best for you.

Best of luck!!
