"I can demystify your dreams anytime!"

I'm crossing sand covered railroad tracks on a bright sunny day.  I step cautiously onto the tracks hoping I won't drop into a hole, slip or trip.  I think to myself, "In a dream I must always be careful when I'm walking across train tracks".  Concrete bricks/blocks inside a tiny beige sand dune appear when I reach the other side to journey through a neighborhood. The town surroundings are similar to my childhood city. While trekking the streets I realize I'm carrying a large white bakery box.  I greet a few people as I stroll by then notice a small girl in a white dress staring at my bakery box.  I flip back the lid to reveal fried chicken & biscuits.  The little girl greedily snatches pieces of chicken & some biscuits.  I don't mind that she is helping herself to the food because I assume she must be extremely hungry.  She neither smiles nor frowns, but looks intensely serious.

Thanks for your insight,
Goddess V.

Hello,

Caution is the common theme in your dream, Railroad tracks generally represent the path you are taking to achieve your goal you have set for yourself, my hunch is telling me it is more an emotional / social relationship goal but it could be another.

The nature of the track is an old fashion approach that may be seen as "a bit dry right now" you are approaching the matter with caution in fear of any hidden traps or pitfalls that my hurt you.

Later in the dream your are also careful with what you are carrying as bakery boxes often contain delicate sweets or cakes that should be handled with care. Yours contain two items, fried chicken that is both filling and homey and the delicate biscuits that can easily brake and crumble to pieces.

The little girl that ate the food could be a symbol of your innocence or a warning that you are cowering away from the matter and perhaps depriving yourself of what you really want.

Just a though
Hope that helps

Hi Kidlike!
Thanks for checking out my dream & providing your very valuable insight!

Yes, that's right...I am on an emotional journey.  I'm taking a cautious & inquisitive approach & I'm strengthening my spirit to handle hidden secrets & unsavory episodes.  Care & compassion for my heart & another's heart are of dire importance.  But I do understand the gratification I'm receiving in this union may not be as satisfying as I wish to believe.  The bond is possibly too fragile to survive (crumble like biscuits).  I'm not nourishing myself with the healthiest full meal deal!

Kid, thanks for helping me face the "non-nutritional facts"!

Scenes involving just tracks but no trains can be referring to the issue of whether you are on the right track, following the intended course of action. The tracks may also suggest the idea of going off the rails, behaving strangely or in a way not acceptable to society; having lost track of reality. As you are crossing the tracks, it also brings up the idea of being on the wrong side of the tracks, referring to one?s social and economic position in society. As the tracks are covered with sand, these may be issues in which time or timing plays a part.

Stepping onto the track can suggest ?being back on the rails?, implying to be making progress again. But this seems to involve taking steps that might lead into a pitfall, slipping up or tripping yourself up which you hope they won?t do.  In your mind you are aware that when dreaming ? using fanciful or wishful thinking ? special care must be taken especially when crossing the tracks. This may suggest that you may be crossing some social or economic line. Note that we do speak of coming from below or above the tracks. [This idea was also hinted at in the choo choo dream with its 3 levels of tracks.]

The concrete bricks inside a sand dune may suggest that time reveals a constructive idea which has solidity or certainty but it could instead also reveal some blocks or hindrances after crossing the line.

You seem to see your path taking you to use grounds of reasoning that you used in childhood (a neighborhood similar to my childhood city) , that is, reasoning used when you were move na?ve, innocent and less knowledgable. On these grounds of reasoning you are carrying on with the idea that your deliverance or salvation may come via getting your just desserts (carrying a large white bakery box) or simply from having satisfaction from a very sweet idea. There may be some innocence or naivet? pertaining to this idea. (a white box) You appear to be acknowledging an aspect of yourself that may be at home or comfortable on these grounds of reasoning  but there seems to be little intensity of thought coming from this aspect of yourself. (greet a few people)

The small girl would represent a rather innocent feeling you have, one lacking in adult knowledge. With this emotional perspective, you are functioning or behaving very innocently, naively and without knowledge. (in a white dress) With emotional innocence you seem focused upon the possibility of having some emotional satisfaction (girl ? staring at the bakery box ? which supposedly contains some kind of food) Your flipping back the lid of the box can suggest some flippancy where your deliverance comes via the food for thought you might give yourself, i.e. not showing the appropriate seriousness to this issue.

The deliverance, or idea that is just what you most need, is revealed to come as food for thought represented by chicken and biscuits. The chicken suggests the idea of getting satisfaction from crying foul regarding what is right and just. Biscuits that accompany meat would tend to suggest a small bread of some kind thus referring to the idea of earning one?s daily bread or one?s keep.

The rather innocent aspect of yourself ? which can also mean as aspect that does nothing wrong intentionally ? seems very eager to eat such food for thought. (girl greedily snatches pieces of chicken & some biscuits) Here you might assume this food for thought is accepted simply because there is a great hunger for some emotional satisfaction that comes in a physical or real form (as is implied by solid food) This kind of food for thought is not seen as being accepted with pleasure nor with displeasure, that is, without any emotional bias (She neither smiles nor frowns) but is simply accepted very seriously.

Thanks for adding to the insight Eliz Van Zee!

Yes, I am treading off the beaten path while dealing with this present situation.  Social difference is a slight issue, but the real  problem is an imbalance of another nature.  I realize caution is advisable because I'm certain there are secrets that time will reveal.  I'm trying to remain neutral while openly expressing my feelings, learning more & hoping for a positive outcome.
