I saw a mother bear and cub outside my window. My daughter was outside and they began following her. I tried to call her but could not reach her. The bear stuck it's head inside my window. Then a white panther head it's head inside the window. I screamed at it and ran toward it but it didn't seem to be afraid. Then several brightly colored birds were flying around me and landing on my hands. They were nibbling my fingers with their beaks but also seemed to be unafraid. Suddenly I was outside and I was running to the road to save my daughter from the bear. I realized I was naked and covered my breasts. Then all of a sudden I was in a city and a group of men approached me. I tried to avoid them but they grabbed me and said, "Where do you think you're going?" They tried to shove me into an empty room but I turned to face them and said, "I want you to acknowledge God. You will not do this. I am a child of God and so are you." Then they let me go. Then I was in a room with a woman who was painting a picture and she was painting pink dots which were perfectly round and perfectly spaced. She told me I could paint like this by using a tool she had that white circles on the ends of plastic strings. She told me if I taped 3 heads together I too could paint like her. Then I was back home and there was a family with small children. They had had bowel movements in my toilet and I was trying to flush it. It wouldn't flush and I had to plunge it over and over. The smell was terrible. Finally I got it unplugged. This is when I woke up.

Bear and cubs - symbolize feelings about being a solitary creature, capable of living alone and surviving. Also danger of sudden, unpredictable responses, and feelings of threat. A bear also can mean that you are insecure about your personal relationship, sometimes it means gossips or financial losses.
In a positive sense a bear represents an inner force of power and strength ready to be used. For instance, dreaming of a bear could mean that your dormant powers are being gathered in preparation. And when you need to act, you can be amazed by the forces you have at your disposal. A mother bear with cubs is truly a force to be reckoned with!

Panther(leopard) - Fierceness, courage, temper, anger, spitefulness, passion...(including passion of caring for your children). Because of the leopard's spots(which are described as eyes), the leopard has represented 'the great watcher'...ie:greater awareness. In Christian symbolism, it represented power to protect against evil.

Window - Windows in our houses allow us to see the world on the out side, the windows in our dreams may encourage us to better see the world within ourselves, as well as the world outside. Because the animals are in the window, suggests that you are becoming aware of the strength and forces within yourself.

Tried to scare them away - your natural, conscious, reaction to finding animals in your window,... but subconsciously, you could be afraid of, or surprised by, your own anger and fierceness, and what you are capable of doing.

Birds - Imagination, intuition, the mind, freedom from restraints, thoughts, hidden wishes, hopes, longing to move beyond limitations or boundaries, and expanded awareness. Because they were brightly colored suggests that you feel the need to take a positive step towards security and success in your waking life.

Landing and nibbling on your hands - The birds are bringing your attention to your hands. Hands are a frequent dream symbol. They represent self-expression, your grasp on life, ideas, and opportunities, our hold on people, and our children, and the ability to 'do' things. Also, to give, take, wound, heal, and support.

Trying to rescue daughter - symbolizes the effort you make, or what you have put into dealing with a relationship difficulty, or an internal feeling state.

Naked and trying to cover up - suggests vulnerability and exposure. It could be a compensation to what is going on in daily life. Are you very guarded and unwilling to let people see the 'real' you, or are you feeling embarrassment as a result of a mistake or emotional reaction?
With this dream symbol, the subconscious might be encouraging you to become more open with your feelings, and more accessible emotionally.

In a city - symbolizes your relationship, and interaction with society, and the many choices you make, or can make about direction, relationships and activities. Also your sense of community and your social, mental, and emotional environment..

Group of men attacking - Conscious attitudes under attack, often from the unconscious self. Feeling threatened by someone or some thing..you are feeling somewhat vulnerable in some area of your daily life.

Your proclaimation about God - suggests that you are ready, and willing, to stand up and fight for what you believe in. That you have strong faith in yourself, and your abilities to achieve what you want.

Painting of any kind, indicates that the you are about to embark on a project very important to you. Discerning the circumstances of that project, and the details, are dependent on other symbols in the dream, and how you feel about them.

Woman painting (artist) - symbol of creativity, the ability to create your own world the way you want it. May represent the unfulfilled creative and/or intuitive side of your nature. An unknown female would represent you.... or rather, another, more creative, side of you. What she paints concerns matters of the emotions. Look at the picture itself, as well as the other symbols in the dream, to judge what the picture is trying to tell you.

1. A painting that is beautiful and happy, suggests you have the power to create whatever circumstances you want the most in life.
A dark, foreboding painting, however, indicates a pessimistic outlook on life, and counselling might be of great assistance.

2. If you watch while someone else paints a picture, you may have the feeling of being on the outside looking in and need to take control of your life.

Pink - a feminine color that usually symbolizes love,(tender love rather than passionate love ie: the love for a child, sibling, or parent), happiness, joy, compassion, the attainment of a goal(success), health and good feelings.

White - Purity, well earned success, honesty, virtue, innocence, peace, happiness, joy, transformation, cleanliness, dignity, awareness, clarity of mind, and light feelings.

Dots/Circles - (Perfectly round and spaced) - symbolize yourself, personal identity, and wholeness. It suggests a good harmony between all the aspects of your being....thus a feeling of pleasure,centeredness, and open-ness, physical, mental, and transcendent. May be used to symbolize 'the self', eternity, and female sexuality.

Her telling you that you can paint like her - your subconscious is telling you to follow her example. To take control, and make your world, your own. You have the strength, the conviction, and the 'know-how', and now it's up to your conscious mind to put it into practice.

Unknown family - Seeing people you don't know in your dream indicates hidden aspects of yourself that you need to confront.
That they were using your toilet suggests that you feel the need for a 'cleansing' within your family group.

Feces plugging toilet - represents those things that you no longer need, things that are currently garbage, or waste, and need to be discarded. It could also represent healthy psychological progress. It may indicate that you are cleansing yourself of unnecessary, and possibly hurtful attitudes, ideas, and emotions. At times, and depending on the details of the dream, feces could represent a contaminated area of your life, mind or spirit, such as old emotions and feelings that are plugging up your ability to be happy.

Unclogged - suggests you are ready and willing to 'unclog' your life. To take positive steps forward and not willing to dwell on the past.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
All in all....I'd say this was a positive dream. That you are moving forward in your efforts to get back to a 'normal' life.
That you, and your family, are on the road towards healing.
Hope this 'un-jumbles' the dream a bit for you.
Hugs, Hope & Happiness,
J
Wow! This does give me new hope. It has been a very difficult struggle. I have not told you this but I have lost all my siblings in the last year to suicide. I am the only remaining survivor of my family.
I am moving on and I am working from home full time. This explanation really gives me hope and making me realize that I am working through all the obstacles I have had and all the mountains of grief and devastating loss.
Thank you again for being here. I know I post a lot and I do apologize for it.
It just really does help to know that my mind is dealing with things.
God bless you!
I'm so sorry to hear of your compounded losses. I cannot say, 'I know what you're feeling', but I can say, "I understand".
No worries Suz...Life is hard enough to have to worry about what others think....you go ahead and post as often as you need to.
