Before I get too far into this, I just wanted to thank you for posting this stressful dream.  I?m sure that it must have been very unsettling and disturbing.

It may be that this dream should be interpreted literally (or almost literally).  After all, there are people in the world who are sick and starving.  It could be that you have visited these poor souls and have seen their suffering.  However, they might not be suffering in the physical world but, rather, suffering in the lower real m of the shaman.  Such an interpretation, or something similar, is certainly possible.

However, I believe that most of our dreams should be interpreted symbolically rather than literally.  I believe that this is true of this dream.

A dream to a strange, unknown place often symbolizes a visit to the unknown world of the unconscious.  This is probably what we have here.

In a symbolic interpretation, all of the people, animals and things in a dream come from the dreamer?s unconscious.  Thus, these people are symbols from the unconscious.

OK -- try not to take this the wrong way.
These sick and starving dream people are suffering because the dreamer is not taking care of them.

I've noticed that sometimes I'll see unpleasant people in the dreams of decent people.  Quite often this due to dreamer?s trying to suppress parts of his or her unconscious.  For example, I remember one dream that I looked at where this very religious, young man had a dream of a violent man who went around killing others.  The violent man was the dreamer's shadow who was being suppressed by the dreamer.

&&&&

As I wrote, I believe that most of our dreams should be taken symbolically.  Thus, the dream people are symbols and do not represent real people.  In my opinion, these dream people are symbols of archetypes from the collective unconscious.  The concepts of archetypes and the collective unconscious are taken from the teaching of the late Swiss psychologist Carl Jung.

For me, the concept of the archetype is a challenge to explain.  In Jungian psychology, archetypes all come out of the collective unconscious.  Archetypes are kind of like primordial images.  There are all kinds of archetypes.  Some of the most common are the shadow and the animus (or anima).  However, we don?t actually see these archetypes; we see their symbols.

Although not all archetypes are people, these are the ones who seem to cause us the most problems in our dreams.  But, we should not think of them as being only dream people.  We should think of them as being real people.  When we see them as real people and treat them as such, we begin to have fewer problems with them.

&&&&

But, in this dream, these people are sick or dying.  How can the dreamer help them?
Answer:  They need food and medicine.

You can not literally feed and heal them the way that you could a person of flesh and blood.  The way that you can help them is the listen to them (and, if feasible, try to do what they want.  When we listen to these dream people, we help them grow and ourselves as well.

You have already taken a big step. You are listening to your dreams and are trying to understand what they mean.  Good job!

Or ...

It may be that you are surrounded by the spiritually sick and dying.  This could be in the real world or perhaps in the lower realm.
Either way, you seem to be there to help these people.

Proper question. We will as likely as not be traveling to an all-inclusive resource in the supplementary year with our 2 children. I hadn't kindliness much in this yet.
In my common sense, they take care of to enthusiasm a dwarf excited in Mexico!
You could beg a foot-soldier convey (it's not too much more $$) from the airport to the hotel and venality versa. That way you would likely come a heap or van that would be enduring seatbelts.

Winter is coming, and with that, comes the snow and the chilled weather. This means that your golf clubs are already put away or are about to be put in storage for the season. With numerous if not all golf courses across the mean of the Allied States closing up research for the seasoned, how can you get your mend of the links other than by way of watching some pros play on the Golf Channel?

A man walked into a bar with his alligator and asked the bartender "Do you serve lawyers here?" "Sure do," replied the bartender. "Good," said the customer, "Give me a beer, and I'll have a lawyer for my gator."

I often interpret dreams as "evil". Depending on your stance on the current war and "terrorism", you might view the worms as the evil leaving the people, and starvation can be purification. It might seem scary, but it may have been your mind purifying itself of the "evils" of religious fanaticism or something along those line.
