House - A house usually always represents you, or rather 'the self'...your body and the attributes of your personality. They symbolize our emotional and psychological selves. All of your experiences, stages of development, and parts of your conscious and unconscious life may be represented by that house. The house may be representing issues concerning a particular dilemma in your life, or it may be more general and comprehensive. Unknown house(but still your house) - suggests aspects of yourself you are not familiar with, and new experiences.
Sister - symbolizes some aspect of your relationship with her, whether it one of sibling rivalry, feelings of kinship, caring, protectiveness, etc. Your sister may draw attention to your family role and sense of belonging. Also may represent qualities that you recognize within your own personality, or would like to.
Friends - Our dreams are full of symbolism with their messengers being all different types of people. It is very common to dream about our friends. These are individuals that are emotionally valuable to us, and we learn about ourselves through them. This dream is more than likely attempting to bring up uncomfortable feelings that you have about yourself, others...or more specifically, your relationship with your friend. (Remember "uncomfortable" does not necessarily mean bad).
Dan suspicious (staring) - suggests that you are hoping someone would look your way more often. It may also represent anxiety or pride. Alternately, it could suggest that you feel that you, or your actions, are under scrutiny.
Kitchen - the heart of the house, and for most families, the kitchen is a place of warmth and nourishment (emotional as well as physical). Also symbolizes the 'mother role'..( pride in the ability, or a wish for the ability, to create a home and contribute something valuable to the family). As a symbol for your emotional life, this is a place where you can be creative. The kitchen almost always reflects the need to work through your current situation using your heart rather than your head.
Steve takes your hand: Hands - represents your relationship to those around you and how you connect with the world. Hands serve as a form of communication. Left hand symbolizes your graciousness and feminine, receptive qualities. Right hand symbolizes masculine, active attributes. To dream that you are holding hands with someone, represents your connection, or wanting a connection, with that person. Your dream may also reflect anxieties about losing touch with him/her or that you are drifting apart.
Dark Room - symbolizes what is unknown, or not defined by the intellect or the conscious self. Things you are unaware of such as depression, and confusion. Also, secrets we hide from ourselves as well as others, and things we don't want to know, or acknowledge, about ourselves.
Wetting your pants: Urine - signifies feelings, or ideas, you have rejected. Urination is symbolic of having or lacking basic control in your life, and may symbolize a need for cleansing and release of negative or repressed emotions. Urinating in public - suggests a feeling of shame, or the need to make a public apology or confession. Alternately, it could symbolize a lack of privacy somewhere in your life.
Looking at Floor (avoiding their eyes) - suggests avoiding intimacy, or not wanting others to know what you're thinking, or feeling.
Light going to shadows: Room Dims - flickering or dim lighting represent uncertainty, anxiety, struggling to understand, and loss of power or mental clarity. Also, what is unknown, or not defined by the intellect, or the conscious self. Shadows - the unaccepted or repressed aspects of your own personality, feelings of being 'put in the shade', feelings still overshadowing you from a past experience or relationship, feeling inferior. Sometimes a feeling of dread or the fear of the unknown, and negative emotions. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Are you 'secretly' attracted to 'Steve'? Is 'Steve' different from the type of guys you would usually be attracted to? Do you feel as though you would betray your sister if you went out with him? Do you feel that others would think less of you, if you dated him? Are you thinking 'Dan' would criticize you for liking 'Steve'? That he's 'no good'...or that 'you can do better'?
Hope this gives you some insight, good luck!
