Hi majadi

In chinese medicine there is a clock which relates to specific organs/functions of the body The time 3am - 5am relates to the lung area which governs many functions. Grief/Loss and melancholy greatly impact on the Lung energy and quite often if there is an excess or deficiency in the lung energy we can find ourselves waking up or becoming restless between these times. Have you ever had any lung related problems Asthma etc? or unresolved grief/loss in your life?

If this is not something that fits then maybe there has been an incident that has occured to you at these times in you life, what time was you born asking your parents questions about anything that may have occured in the early hours of the morning may be a pointer for you to get some insight.

Again if you feel there is no relevance here then in reply to your query, 3 is often the symbol of the mind, body, spirit harmony, it is also a creator number the power of three creates, and is evident in wiccan when intending three times what one hopes to manifest, it is a number that helps to bring to manifestation, to create in our 'three' dimensional plane. Again these possibilitys are all in context to whats being imparted to you. For more info on numbers and their meanings visit this page -
 http://www.crystalinks.com/numerology2.html
on the first page it gives meanings to the number 3 and at he bottom there is a link to visit the second page which will give meanings for double digit numbers I.e 33 and again there is a third page for triple digit numbers I.e 333.

Hope this helps a little Good Luck  Smiley

If your sleeping experience were to be interpreted as we would interpret a dream, your experience does say something.

The idea of awakening represents the idea of coming to a greater state of conscious awareness. Having this occur somewhere in the third hour would simply suggest a time that is governed by good or godly thinking.

Thus awaking when you do would imply that in your mind, you could be thinking that you have come to an awareness about something in your life and done so under the influence of godly thinking. The problem here is that while you may sense that you have awakened to something, the fact is that you are still very much in the dark; that you are still very lacking in some knowledge or information (because at 3 to 4 in the morning it is still dark outside). As soon as you cease thinking in terms of your new awareness or realization, you will go back to sleeping to your normal waking hour.

All life experiences ? even those associated with sleep ? can be interpreted as if they were dreams and a lot of valuable knowledge can be obtained. It can take some time for issues to surface in dreams but life gives one a more immediate feedback.
