Hi everyone,

I'm new on here so i hope that i am posting this in the right section.

I've been having a reoccurring dream for the past week, and was hoping someone might be able to offer some kind of insight into what it could mean.

I'm not sure if it helps to know anything about me, but just in case i'll give you a brief description. I'm a 26 year-old female, and run my own company. I am single, but happily so, i've been in some very destructive relationships and have finally come to a point where i am alone and extremely happy, i also have no urge to change that any time soon.

Right so my dream....

My dreams in a larger context haven't changed from the usual rubbish i dream about, friends, life, the bizarre and the weird. However about a week ago a man turned up in my dream. He was tall and had dark hair and eyes, he didn't say a word to me, just stood staring at me. I was certain i knew this man so didn't it it bother me.

However the next night he reappeared again, and this time i looked at him properly, and i didn't know him, in fact i've never seen him before. He is roughly my age i would guess, and just stands on the outskirts of my dreams staring at me.

I feel no threat from this man, instead i feel warm and protected. He stares at me as though i'm his world, yet has never spoken to me. I feel like we are close, that we have something special, and i wake up every morning feeling calm and happy.

I know that when i stare at him i feel a pull, like i can't be apart from him. We are close, i feel his protection surrounding me like we are lovers, but we never touch.

I feel like something is missing when i wake up, yet i'm not sad, just calm and content.

As i said i have never seen this man, and  know nothing about him. The one thing i do know when i wake up is that i'm not going to meet him where i live in Brighton, that he isn't here.

Can someone please try and decipher this dream for me as i'm beginning to feel like i'm going slightly mad!
