Any animal in a dream will represent an emotional aspect of your own nature and will suggest a feeling from which come your urges or motivations. Very generally, any animal appearing in a dream which has no counterpart in real life would indicate having a feeling that God, (or Nature) has not designed for your use.

As the basic body of your strange animal is dog-like, the feeling it represents probably refers to your feelings of friendship or loyalty. As the chipmunk has two black stripes down its back it would imply that where you have, or are using, a feeling pertaining to friendship/loyalty, that this feeling has been given an indication of having earned honours of a negative nature. The pig-like tail implies there is a tale or story that goes with your feelings pertaining to friendship, one that may have something to do with the issue of love (as a pig is pink).  But ? as mentioned above, this is not a God-created emotional aspect of your nature.

By jumping off the sofa, it seems suggested that when using the feeling you have pertaining to friendship/loyalty, you cannot remain resting at ease with it nor remain sitting pretty/ comfortably (because it is not a feeling God designed for you to be using).
