I have never been here before...but I just woke up from a strange nightmare that left my heart racing. It was very short and very simple. I was driving on the highway with my two kids in the back seat. It was still dark out because it was early in the morning. I was driving them to school and then I was going to continue with my commute to work. There was nothing abnormal about any of this. Suddenly, the lights on my dash board begin to dim...and fade completely out...I watch this happening and am thinking....oh, shit, my battery is going..but I don't have time to finish this thought because the dimming continues to the cabin of the car we are in. This darkness...no more like the light is beginning to fade and then wham.....everything is gone...the light goes from everything...even outside. There is only darkness. All this happens in half a minute. But the really strange thing is..is that I know that everyone in the world is expereincing this. It isn't just me. It is like armegedeon. I know everything is still out there...that my car is still surrounding me and my children are in the car and the outside world is there....but no one can see anymore. What is that? Blindness in the dream analysis means to be in the dark about something...not facing the truth about something....but what is with the universal concept...what is my brain telling me of how I feel?
Any insights are so welcome....
