I often dream that someone is calling my name, and this wakes me from my sleep. However, this morning I had a dream someone was shouting my name and I actually woke up answering them. It seemed so real. I fell asleep again, only to be wakened Smiley again by someone shouting my name, again it had only been a dream, but I actually got up and looked outside as this seemed so vivid.
Can anyone help with this one please.

To hear your name being called could sometimes indicate that you are in touch and in tune with your inner self. It also makes you aware of your own uniqueness and highlights your individuality.
Sometimes your name being called out in a dream could be your subconscious trying to call your attention to something....(oversleeping, something that you've forgotten)
It could be a necessity that needs your immediate attention....a pet needing to go out, your own need to use the bathroom.

A person's name is important. It's your identity. Sometimes hearing your name could suggest your need to be recognized, or feel important.

There is only one person who can 'truly' interpret a 'Names Dream' ...and that is you.
Usually, symbolic meanings are quite specific. Your own symbolic meaning may be totally different than what others would interpret.

Do you know the meaning of your name...that is to say, the meaning of the actual name being used in the dream?
The 'voice' could be trying to direct you towards the fulfillment of that meaning.

I have that dream a lot myself, and I usually try to figure out who the voice belongs to.
If it's my mother's voice, I am usually experiencing an over-sight of something.... something I'm forgetting.
If it's my Dad's....it tells me I feel I'm doing something wrong.
If it's one of my kid's, or siblings...I find that there is someone, or something, that needs 'tending' to.

I hope I've given you something to go on. Best of Luck!

I have dreamed also like that. Did you mean my grandmother and grandfather seems telling me that I almost forgot them because they showed in my dream calling my name? Maybe, it is relevant on what you have said because I do not have enough time visiting them. Maybe, they miss me or I miss them too.

In that case, your daily activities also affects your resting time. Maybe you're just tired the whole day. Why don't you get some doctor check-ups?
