Hi

I would be grateful for some help about a dream that I believe is important but I cannot fathom it ... here it is:

I was sitting on the ground when suddenly a massive grey snake arose out of the ground, it appeared to have many heads, it started to wrap itself around my body, I was afraid, then someone unknown to me, found a weapon and beat it and the snake retreated. Several times I went back to the same place and the snake would take me by surprise and reemerge to wrap itself around my body, always with the result that I was afraid but the other person always beat him down.

Again I went back to this place and I was standing and the snake once again emerged out of the ground, but this time it split open and gave birth to a small black snake, it was still in a sac as it emerged out of the body of the big, grey snake. As it broke out of the sac it gripped my lower leg like a vice, it felt wet and slimy and I managed to break free from the snake without help.

The big, grey snake reappeared in human form, as an ugly man with very watery eyes, I met the man and was suddenly hit by the realisation that he was not human, that he was in fact the snake and before my very eyes, against his will, he transformed back into the snake. This time I alone beat him down alone and I was not afraid.

Then I woke up and my first thought was that I was no longer afraid.

Can anyone help me with this please??

I was going to ask about your marital status  Grin this background does help.

snakes are the sign of change depending on the type and color of the snake, since grey is the color of indecisiveness and depression you can guess what was rapping itself around you, it seems as if you had a rough time in the past with more then one issue -multiple heads- attacking you without giving you a chance to recover in between.

at first you depended on other people or things to support you through but it seems as if you finally gathered the strength to face it yourself. you don't think of yourself as a strong woman usually but when push comes to shove you WILL shove, your survival instincts are heightened currently after being under stress for quite sometime now that it had really build up.

this dream is more of the past then anything else, perhaps you went through depression and tried to escape it just to find yourself in square one again a few times.

hope that helps and Sorry for loss,
Kid

Hi Kid,

Thanks very much and yes it does make a lot of sense.

One of the main problems for me is the fact that I haven't been able to mourn my mother due to "family issues" - without going into much detail my brother managed to relieve her of all of her assets and money just about a month before she died! taking full advantage of her dementia. So I am still working through legal matters in relation to this. I have always been afraid of my brother, yet after this dream I awoke with the realisation that I am no longer afraid.

I am much stronger than I thought and have through my problems discovered resources that I never knew existed.

Once again thank you.
