there are variations of this dream with different beginnings and ends.. but they all are the same in the middle:

ex boyfriend and i drive out to a middle of the highway, where there are lots of highway bridges and we hold hands and jump off together. kind of like parachute jumping except the parachutes never come out. we both are very nonchalant about it outwardly, as if it was no big deal but inside, i was a little scared. we do this again off another bridge, but i didn't see it - just us jumping off (1st person) and then again off a building (like the CN tower) but again didn't see the building itself.

we then land and we had the most passionate kiss, and then off he went. i remember feeling like i didnt want him to go, but off he went anyway and i never said anything. the atmosphere is always gloomy..

this occurs SO many times. it's so strange!! we don't talk now, i have a new boyfriend....

what could it mean??
thank you Smiley

Boyfriend - It is common to have dreams with ex-boyfriends and ex-girlfriends, even though we might have a current partner right now. Usually your ex is a symbol of perfection and whatever you miss with a current partner may be brought up in your dream with your ex. If you dream of a specific person being your boyfriend, it suggests that there are aspects of the dream-boyfriend that you would like to see in your actual boyfriend.
It may also symbolize an actual relationship to a male figure in your life, or it may symbolize the relationship to your masculine side. Incorporating masculine aspects without letting them rule creates balance. Those masculine aspects that can be trusted.

Jumping off - Suggests you're feeling the need to get out of something in your waking life.

Bridge - There are many meanings that could be given to this symbol. The details in the dream are just as important as the bridge itself. The first consideration should be given to how much you travel. The bridge can be interpreted literally if it is a part of your daily commute.
On a more psychological level, bridges can symbolize transitions (e.g. transition from one stage to another, from one level of consciousness to another). Since most bridges are over water (i.e. emotions, unconscious), this dream could also be symbolic of your rising above your emotional difficulties or unconscious drives.

Kiss/Kissing - Depending on how the kiss makes you feel. If it left you with a positive feeling, it represents the acceptance of what, or who, is being kissed....or the acceptance of what or who they represent. Also, sexual agreement, tenderness, and movement towards unity.
If the kiss left you feeling sad, lonely, angry or any negative feeling, it represents a feeling loss, betrayal, or duplicity(as with Judas kissing Jesus). Idioms: kiss of life, kiss of death, kiss 'it' goodbye.

Your ex may be on your mind from time to time. It could be that your subconscious it telling you to move on with your life and forget about him.

Hope this helps, good luck!

To dream about your ex-boyfriend/girlfriend or ex-husband/wife, suggests that something or someone in your current life is bringing out similar feelings you felt during the relationship with your ex, or that you are finding yourself in a similar situation that you do not want to be in. The dream may be a way of alerting you to the same or similar behavior in a current relationship. What you learn from that previous relationship may need to be applied to the present one, so that you do not repeat the same mistake. Past lovers may also highlight the positive experiences you had with that person, but that it's time to move on in your life, and use those 'highlights' to enrich your current relationship.
Alternatively, to see your ex in your dream may also signify aspects of yourself, or feelings, that you have 'crossed ou't or neglected.

Jumping off the bridge with your ex would suggest that you're trying to get out of the feelings, or bad situations, that are reminding you of your ex.
