I have had a dream a few times that I am being stalked, in one, the person attacked me,another time the person ran after me and i shouted out for my cousin and he started beating the person up, has anyone any idea what this means?

sometimes dreaming of an attacker can be a symbol of yourself.  there might be something in you that you want to get rid of, but you cant. (or the other way around)

or it may mean that you are hiding from someone or something that you have hurt.

It could symbolize the duality you feel within yourself, and sense of right and wrong. It could also suggest you feeling guilty about something. Also, your subconscious could be telling you to be 'wary' of someone who represents themself as your 'friend'....but in reality you may feel as though they are an 'enemy' or competitor of sorts.

Similar to being chased, it could mean that you are running away from a situation, or responsibility.
