Hi there

I had a dream a few nights ago that has scared the living daylights out of me!

In my dream I was at a party, the atmosphere was a bit blurred and random. This lady came up to me and told me she was a psychic and that she had bad news for me! I asked her what it was and she said someone was going to die in 3 weeks. When i asked her who...she paused and said you (but it felt wrong it was almost like i had been urging the dream on). I then asked her why and she said because of a bad family decision or something like that. I ran away in a state of panic and ran to my ex boyfriend. I told him about what she had said and he didnt care but continued to party on.

Im a bit worried about this dream! Could someone please help me analyse it!

Previous to having this dream I had a fight with my ex boyfriend and also watched a movie about someone faking there own death. Would this have any part to play in my dream.

Please help... im very anxious and scared that it might be literal.

The movie may be part of it in the way you related to it. Do you wonder sometimes how others would feel if you really did die? Maybe you feel unappreciated and if you died others would then realize how much you actually meant to them.
Please don't worry that it was literal in the sense that you are actually going to die. Usually when we die in our dreams, it's merely a way for our subconscious to tell us it's time to move on....to let the past, and awful experiences die. Not the physical body. Like the Tarot card for death, or the 'Ace of Spades', it means the death of old ways, attitudes, habits, etc.
Your dream is showing you that your ex has moved on and that you should too. Don't let him continue to invade your life and cause the old hurts to resurface.
