I am in the process of migrating my sites to a newer, more powerful server, my old server has been struggling during peak time recently so there will be some downtime coming soon. Ive not decided on a specific date or time yet but it will most likely be over the weekend or early next week, maybe 1 hour downtime max. I will update this post nearer the time. Thanks to everyone using the forum  |

Thanks for the update Admin. My pc is dodgy at best. Sluggish and crappy usually. Nice to know that THIS time it won't be my pc acting up!...(Which....if things go as planned, I'll have a new pc by this time next week! YAY! )

I will be moving the site to the new host tomorrow (Thursday) around midday GMT, i will suspend the board during the move so i can backup all the posts without loosing anything, hopefully it will all go smoothly and you can carry on posting as normal shortly after that. Admin |

OK, the forum has moved (AGAIN) we have lost yesterdays posts due to one of my backups corrupting  , but we do now have SE friendly URLs There still a fair bit of work to do now as i had to do a clean install of the forum software and import all the posts etc so i need to set up the arcade again and move across other bits and pieces but hopefully it will all be done in another couple of hours. A few of us are having trouble logging in, and posting. Getting the "INTERAL SERVER ERROR" message a lot. The preview works ok though.

Well after lots of swearing, shouting, throwing the computer mouse, banging my head on the table, lots of editing, test posting, signing up test accounts, posting some more, editing some more, and some more, and some more i think i have secured a stable mod.
url rewriting for posts and categories is working, which is the main thing required for google to index our topics.
profile pages and general forum actions are using the old structure, which is fine and now hopefully stable.
500 server error on replying to posts and signing up new accounts should now be fixed.
Please let me know asap if you see any other problems.
