Hi, I'm new here!
I've had this reoccuring bad dream that's been bugging me.

My dream involves me, driving my car somewhere at night, parking it, and then somehow finding my way back home(don't know how that happens). The day after, I suddenly remember with a feeling of fear that my car is not with me, but somewhere else.  The scary part is that I don't know where the car is !!
In my dream I don't seem to remember where I went, or even why I did go where I went... it's like I am completely confused & fuzzy about what happened. In a sense, I feel like my car is lost & I'm trying to find it. The frustration and the confusion is that my outing appears to me in my dream  somewhat dreamlike.. like I was not fully present when it happened. This causes frustration why I can't recall where the car is!! Why can't I remember?  The dream ends with me sitting there trying to remember where the car is, and I don't even have a clue where to start looking.

Another version of the dream is that I am in the woods and it is getting dark. I get lost in the woods
because I can't remember where my car is parked. I never do find it, and I wake up.

thanks so much to anyone who can help shed some light!

Often times a car in a dream symbolizes our career.  If you put this symbolism along with the idea of being lost, confused, forgetful, frustrated... does any of this seem to describe your current situation?  If not, we'll try a different interpretation.

Best wishes
