hi i have only just found this site it looks great ,i thought i would share my dream and wonder if anyone could say and tell me what it means?
i sometimes have this dream 3/4 times a week sometimes only twice but its always exactly the same, the bits i remember each time is as follows,
i walk into this very beautiful house it has lots of rooms including 2 in basement, the house inside is absolutely beautiful, and i turn and say to my husband, oh look its full of all her lovely things, i dont know why she left it all to me, and the room im in has beautiful furniture and carved wood in it and the walls and curtains are a beautiful plush, like velvet in a shade of burgundy/red just beautiful, and i feel good in the dream, then that all i can remember i must always wake up then as its the same everytime.
hope someone can explain as i hardly ever dream of the same thing more than twice and this has been going on and off for months

A house is a representation of 'the self'. The rooms all represent different aspects of 'the self'....
the attic would represent the head, brain, or thoughts & ideas...the bedrooms would represent the private and/or sexual parts of the self...etc.
The furniture is representative of the attitudes, and habits we furnish our life with. Also notions about self & self image.

That you feel the house and it's decor is beautiful, suggests you feel good about yourself, and self-image and your abilities concerning 'the self'.

If you have had a recent disappointment or 'let-down', and you know it's not your fault, you may have a dream like this to reassure yourself.
Or if you have reached a goal, or finished a project you feel good about, this is your subconscious giving you a pat on the back.

You didn't mention who 'she' is ...the 'she' who left you the house. As though someone has passed away?
If known, 'she' could be a representation of a female figure in your life(mother, grandmother...etc) who left you the legacy of a positive attitude and happy outlook on life.
If the 'she' is unknown, it could be a representation of an unknown side of you...telling you to keep your chin up, and to look on the bright side of things.

Hope this gives you something to go on.
Cheers!
