All vehicles used in dreams will show you the kind of idea or manner of thinking being used to get you somewhere in life. Motorized vehicles ? which are lacking biological components ? would represent using a rational or logical way of thinking. Where the vehicle depends upon body power, such as a bicycle, the thinking being used is simply emotional thinking. Going on foot would imply making progress by using one?s instinctive (but emotional) understanding.

A flying vehicle would primarily imply using a way of thinking that is more intelligent since it operates at a higher level than others. Your aim of seeing things from a broader view seems to suggest a desire to see more or understand more. When using or acquiring more intelligence this becomes possible. The flying machine made of cardboard boxes would suggest that the early dreams were showing you that your deliverance, salvation or what you most need is to reach a higher level of intelligence in order to increase your abilty to understand things.

Your present day flying machine would indicate that in your own mind you can see yourself using a very intelligent way of thinking. But, the association with a Star Wars-like space craft can imply that this image of your thinking ability belongs more to a future time. The cushy bottom and iron bars to hold on to can be suggesting that you could see yourself barred from any cushy position ? barred from getting too comfortable with the way of thinking being used. Note that a more realist image of using an intelligent way of thinking would be the airplane.
