Basement - symbolizes the deepest part of your subconscious mind, your foundation(The beliefs, and ideals, that were 'built' in your earliest beginnings), also represents a part of your subconscious mind where you have kept your fears and problems hidden. They are also frightening places.
A dark and gloomy basement suggests some area in your life within your 'foundation' seems dark and gloomy.

Sex with someone other than your spouse or significant other, may suggest dissatisfaction with the physical side of your relationship. On the other hand, it may be harmless fantasy. Dogs - represent loyalty, and companionship. This dog may be a representation of someone, or a goal, within your waking life.
