I'm quite used to have very weird dreams, but I've never thought about having a go at interpretation until now.  I will post details of my latest one below and see what you can make of it.

I'm sitting outside a cafe/restaurant, across a large road is the beach, it's a lovely day weather wise.  Then there's a bit of fuss going on at the beach, a guy that has been travelling around the world was finally making it to shore, I think he had been presumed lost.  He was making his way to shore inside the back half of a whale, it had been hollowed out and he was using it like a flipper as a mermaid would swim.

He made it to shore, exhausted and then the dream switched to him being eaten by a hippo, he was still alive, the hippo had swallowed him whole, feet first, and it had it's mouth closed with it's teeth over his shoulders so only his head was poking out.

The next jump was to him being rescued, he was on a stretcher being lifted by a crane, reminiscent of how they do it with a helicopter.  The crane swung the stretcher low and slowly towards the road and it bumped against a car and couldn't go any further (there was no thought as to why he couldn't lift it up and take the stretcher over the car).  So along comes Roger Moore and moves the car out of the way so the stretcher can be put safely on the ground.

And that's it, I can't remember if anything much happened happened after that, if anything at all.  At the beach I was watching it, but I wasn't on the beach or at the cafe, when the crane came along I was watching from the cafe.

Any thoughts?

Lovely day - suggests hopefulness, a bright outlook.

Cáfe - being by yourself at a cáfe indicates a feeling of 'being lonely in a crowd,' a feeling of being separate from the world around you.

Beach - symbolizes family gatherings, relaxation, intimacy, and emotions.

The road between you and the beach - symbolizes a barrier you feel in your waking life. Could be a barrier between work and pleasure, or between you and your emotions.

The man - may symbolize you, or rather... a side of you that you are not familiar with. That he has travelled around the world suggests gathered experiences, and knowledge. That he was presumed 'lost', and now is 'found', suggests that you are becoming aware of that 'unknown side' of you.

Whale - symbolic of the connection that exists between the unconscious and conscious mind. It may represent your level of awareness, perceptiveness, and intuition. These large animals may represent an overwhelming emotional or psychological issue, or problem.
That the tail being used, it would seem to symbolize the strong drive involved in reproduction, or procreation.

Hippopotamus - symbolizes feelings of being clumsy, awkward, or overweight.
Because he 'ate' the man suggests you feel overwhelmed, or controlled by a physical condition, or state of mind.

Being rescued - suggests a need of intervention in your life by someone else's actions or emotions....something that changes a situation, or mood, you are in.

Crane - suggests you are undergoing powerful changes, or making major decisions. That the crane was having difficulty moving the stretcher over the car, suggests you're having difficulties with changes, or a decision, in your waking life.

The car - symbolizes your motivating drives(sex drive, ambition, sense of failure...whatever 'drives you' in life) Also symbolizes the desire to 'get somewhere' in life, as well as freedom, personal space, and privacy.
That the car was an obstacle in the dream suggests you feel that you are 'getting nowhere', or feel stuck in one place.

Roger Moore(celebrity) - suggests a desire to be noticed, or acclaimed for your potential, and achievements. Some of the qualities you see in him, you'd like to portay as well,... courage, success, grace, charm, romantic, authority, charisma, energy, and sex appeal.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Do you feel 'out of place' or alone in the world?
If you are not currently in a relationship, are you wanting to be?
Do you have a low self-esteem, or wish you were like someone else?
Do you feel you have a lot to offer another person, if only they'd give you the chance?
Are you wanting a family, or children, if you do not already have these?
Do you feel 'stuck' in a role, or position, and would like to break free and have a little fun?
I hope I could help you out. Best wishes!
