Dream- first of all i was not able to enter the elevator unless someone else used there employee badge to let me on, once on the elevator I have difficulty getting off on the 9th floor.  The vibe of the dream was very chaotic for I was desperately trying to get to the 9th floor to report to work.  I make several attempts  up and down the elevator with no luck.  Another aspect of the dream that was interesting was that every time I got of on the wrong floor, I saw something that was very appealing to me.           "Whats Up With That?"  I am looking forward to your input;-)

It sounds to me like you sense that you have a purpose in life, but you are feeling frustrated in accomplishing that purpose.  The chaos of the dream indicates the clutter in your mind that you are not keeping control of.  The fact that others have to let you on to the elevator with their employee badges shows that you have not learned to think for yourself; you are relying on the identities of others too much.  Time to discover and utilize your own identity!  The distractions on each "wrong" floor show that you are being tempted by other things in life that could keep you from achieving your true purpose.  But the good thing is that you are trying to stay focused on your ultimate goal, even though it seems to be blocked from you right now, and you are being persistent.
I'm not very good at numerology, but I imagine that there's some significance in the number 9.  Since "nine" closely rhymes with "mine," I wonder if the dream used that number to emphasize the idea that this goal you are trying to achieve is something very personal, something that is YOURS.
