I had a dream last night that I lost my laptop computer, and I don't even own one.  I was wondering the halls of my high school, where I graduated 30 years ago, and went to use one of the restrooms between classes.  I had my laptop with me for the first time.  I set it down on a table in the restroom (yes, there was a big table in there with magazines and toiletry items), and I went into one of the stalls.  In the stall, I noticed an empty black purse hanging on a hook.  I figured someone didn;t want the purse any longer and left it there for someone to take if th ey liked it.  I left it there.

I then proceeded to my next class, but then as I got to class, I realized I left my laptop in the restroom!  I tried to go back right away, but had difficulty in remembering where the restroom was located and kept going down the wrong hallway over and over again, until I finally get to the restroom and the laptop is gone.  I stopped a teacher in the hallway and asked where the lost and found area was. She said that she was pretty certain I would never recover the laptop as those only last around "4 minutes here."  I said, you mean there are no honest people here?  To which she did not respond.  I tried to find the principal's offfice to inquire, but had great difficulty getting there.

What could this dream signify?
