I there, I am new to the site but I have a dream that I find disturbing and would like an interpretation to.

In the dream I had taken on a lodger, but the house felt like the house I was living in London where I was a lodger myself. The lodger's disposition was that like one of my distant cousins. He has his own company selling up market furniture and he brought one into the lounge. I noticed a flaw in the finishing at the bottom, he was not pleased that I had looked closely, albeit he did not react aggressively, he just gave some explanation in a very dismissive way. He was charming in a way and charmed my family. He then turned out also to be my boyfriend. At this point I seem to either have woken up or realised in the dream that it was actually a dream about a guy I fancied, sent an email to asking him out and I was waiting for his reply and it seemed the dream was implying my feelings for him were fine (as in approval of him). The dream continued and he had some problems with his business, maybe theft or fire, but he was not too bothered about it as there was a solution (not sure what, maybe insurance payout). I appeared on the scene and the officials there were saying how nice it was for his girlfriend to be there to support him.

I was then somewhere else and got a call from an investigation authority who asked me to confirm that he lives in my house. I was taken aback by the query, but I was reassured and they said they just needed me to answer the question and I did.  When I got back home, I was made to understand he had been lying all the while and he did not have the money to pay his rent because his business had completely gone down. My thoughts at that point was that this was not particularly an issue for me as he had paid his deposit and the first month rent, which had not expired yet. I was however surprised that he had lied so much to me and everyone else. A female police support officer then came to arrest him. He struggled with her as he resisted arrest. She was trying to restrain him and get his hands for the handcuffs as she told him she has had to deal with worse situations so he should just surrender. I started to think the house was not even mine anyway so why do I have to go through all the trouble of getting a lodger in, but then I had to because I had taken my mortgage out on the house and I needed to ensure I got the other rooms let as well. I then met this black girl on the bus, she was very grumpy and had complaints about her housemate. Despite she looked like she was the unpleasant type I, I asked her if she wanted to move into the empty room in my house. I seemed so uncontrollably eager for to have her there just maybe because of cultural compatibility or that she was just there and she was female, but the dream was not clear as to my reason.

This dream suggests that you have been trusting someone only to be lead astray. That someone has caused you to lose faith in them or their intentions.

A house usually always represents you, or rather 'the self'...your body and the attributes of your personality.
They symbolize your emotional and psychological 'self'. All of your experiences, stages of development, and parts of your conscious and subconscious life may be represented by that house. The house may be representing issues concerning a particular dilemma in your life, or it may be more general and comprehensive.

The black girl represents an new and previously unknown side of yourself. That you are eager for her to move into your house, suggests that you are embracing this new side of yourself.

Hope this helps!
Good Luck!
