I like this dream.

I believe that most of our dreams are personal dreams.  That is, they are meant for and apply to the dreamer.  Thus, the dream people, images and such are parts of a message for the dreamer.

I also believe that most of our dreams are meant as feedback to tell us how we are progressing.  It is how we are progressing spiritually and psychologically.

And, when I see colors in a dream, I often interpret them as they are associated with different chakras.  Thus, pink (along with green) is one of the colors that most often represent the fourth or heart chakra.  The fourth chakra is the chakra of healing and universal love.  http://healing.about.com/cs/chakras/a/chakra4.htm

If we continue with the chakra symbolism, then the pine trees are probably symbols of the pineal gland, which is associated with the 6th or the 7th chakra. 

As for the ten days, it probably does refer to a time period.  But, it may not literally be ten day.  It might be ten weeks, months or even years.

But, what about this end of the world thing?  Is the world going to end in ten "days"?  The answer is Yes and No.  I seriously doubt that world will be completely destroyed anytime soon.  However, as I wrote, "most of our dreams are personal dreams."  Thus, your world (which is almost certain your spiritual or physical body) will go through a destruction and rebirth.  The rebirth will be to a more developed spiritual level.
