Well, it's that time of year again! Spring is just around the corner and eveyone is getting cabin fever!
I had planned on having my sister and her family come for the traditional corned beef & cabbage with red potatoes, and baby carrots dinner.... and raisin bannock, and an apple scone pie for dessert.
But alas,,,,it's not to be.
I came down with the flu yesterday(first time in 20 years Undecided) and even though I'm feeling a little better today, I don't feel well enough to cook all that...let alone eat it. So we are postponing the feast until Wednesday. I should be felling better by then!

Hope you all have a fun and safe St.Patty's Day!
Cheers n' Hugs! Kiss

you better be careful with that flu, you might get your kids infected with those. flu these days are troublesome. if you get an immunization this year, the next year it'll be different. if you get infected in the same year, they'll say, you got infected with a stronger mutated virus. so, what's the use of those immunizations? hmm.... conspiracy eh...?

anyway, get well soon, take lots and lots of fluids, (water and fresh fruit juices).

here in the philippines, we are now *celebrating* (i don't know if that's the right term) holy week. that means no meat! hehe... i'm not a fanatic catholic, i just ate burger this morning...  Cheesy i'll have my penance in some other way anyway.

LOL..Hamburger! Hopefully that panance won't be the flu!

I'm not Catholic, but yes...we have that here, but we call it lent.

My kids are at their Father's house for a week and will be back this weekend. I should be better by then. I had some chicken broth yesterday, and THAT was not a happy experience....UGH!

Lemme tell you....I WON'T be making THAT mistake again. So I'm just sticking to ginger ale.
Maybe later, I'll spice it up, and add a straw. LOL.
I am feeling better today, but not 100%. I never get the flu shot. Like you said...'What's the use?'
Anyway, thanks for the get well wishes. *I feel me getting better already!*

Hugs!
