I have been having dreams that are disturbing...not nightmares, but kind of scare me and make me try to stay awake after I have them.  But this most recent one kind of confused me.

I am sitting in the passenger seat of a car with a woman driving I don't know, and a woman in the back seat I don't know, but we are talking like we know each other.  We are parked in an alley surrounded by large buildings.  A woman pulls up from the opposite direction in a car with the name on it "Acquire".  Someone made a comment about the car because it was one she had never heard of and it had 8 tires; 4 regular tires and then beside each of them, one of those spare wheels you get with some cars.  She started singing the theme song and said we must know it, which none of us did.  Anyway out of nowhere a young man comes up to the window saying he was a police officer and asks us where the 4th girl was.  He was not in uniform and could not show us a badge so I said, you aren't a police officer and I am going to call them.  He disappeared as I got out of the car with my cell phone to call the police.  I turned to see why one girl was running and looked back seeing the young man coming at us with a shot gun, a rifle, from behind.  I couldn't move.  I tried to run but couldn't.  Then I heard one of the women say, "no John, don't".  I don't know a John, personally.  My feet started moving but it was very slowly.  After that I woke up feeling very frightened.   

I've read about running in dreams and not being able to and the interpretation may very well be true for me.  I am having a lot of doubts and questioning a lot of things in my life right now.  But what does the rest mean?
