I had a dream 3 nights ago; and it's still haunting me.
I was in a small room of men that I've admired and liked in one way or another over the years. Next to me is a man with whom I have worked for about 3 months. He certainly ranks among those whom I admire; and we have much in common; and yes, he is someone in whom I am very interested in dating and getting to know better.
We were all chatting about various things, when he stepped close and put his arm around me. I liked it; and what I'd hoped it meant; but was very self conscious of all those who I look up to seeing this. He then looked me in the eye and said 'I'm going to kiss you now'. And he did. I found myself unable to enjoy it, knowing all eyes were on us. I found it very uncomfortable.
Then he and I were in a different place; still many people around; but people I did not know, or at least who I did not know well. His arm was still around me. He leaned over and kissed me again. Just as passionately; and I was less uncomfortable as my 'heroes' were not witnessing this.
Then he and I were in a third place, his arm still around me. Like a mall; people all around and we were standing in front of some shops. No one there I would have known; simply a bunch of strangers. He again leaned over and kissed me. Very passionately. After a moment of being taken aback by again being on public display; I was able to give in and enjoy the kiss; and the feelings. I found it very hot (I kept reminding myself that it couldn't go any further because I really DO want to date him; but MERCY, it was nice!).
And I awoke.
This dream haunts me. I am 39, single/no children. I assume that is partially where this has come from. But I have never had a physical dream before; and it's really taken me by surprise! thank you for any insight!

Smiley You basically answered youself!

You want to date him but you're uncomfortable about having the rest of your co-workers knowing about it. Like...'if only he wasn't a co-worker'....type thing.

If there is no policy about co-workers dating, go ahead and ask him out!
Good Luck!

Thank you for your insight! Perhaps that is the case after all! At 39 I am still more 'naive' than I like to admit! LOL
What I had found in online 'dream dictionaries' were mainly that I thought of him as a confidante...but that did not seem quite accurate for the dream I had had.
Thank you again!
Happy Easter,
