I keep getting this dream about a man, i never see his face, i first started getting these dreams about a year ago..
the first one was i was at home in my bed, i could sense something wasnt right, but i felt paralised and couldnt move let alone wake up! i felt a hand at my foot and someone was trying to pull me off my bed..
i tried to escape but it was as if i had been drugged and was incapable of moving.. i managed to drag myself off the bed.. and got to my bedroom door but he reached out and grabbed me back.. he was ripping at my clothes, and the furniture got upturned in the struggle.. i had this dream a couple of times..

the next one i got was i had fallen asleep with a migrain, i was lying on my front and then again i felt that something wasnt right but i couldnt wake up again or move! the man came into the room again and i felt him climb on top of me, i could feel his hands gripping on my arms.. there was again a struggle.. and i tried calling for help.. i reached for my phone.. i then woke up half off the bed with my head on the floor and mobile in my hand and i had even dialed my boyfriends number??

any one got any ideas on what they mean?

Rape - Dreaming about rape, or the possibility of it, is a nightmare that inflicts fear and anxiety upon recall. Since rape is a brutal and deeply personal violation, it suggests that the dreamer may be feeling robbed of options and negated as a human being. In a dream, as in real life, rape has very little to do with sex. It is about power, control, anger, and other very destructive emotions. In order to understand this dream, you may need to think about the areas of your life that causes you great anxiety and fear. It may also be a warning from your subconscious to take precautions, protect yourself emotionally and physically and don't engage in careless behavior

If you were a rape victim, the traumatic nature of this experience may cause you to have a dream like this from time to time.
~~~~~~~~~
Is there someone in your life that you feel is trying to control you?
Are you experiencing sexual, verbal, or physical harassment or abuse anywhere in your waking life?
Are you in a situation that is leaving you feeling powerless or without any options, or control?
I hope I could help.
Hugs & Hope,
J
The nest time you start having the dream, tell the man NO! Try to strike back at him. You are probably a very passive person in 'real' life. So dreams like this make you feel even more powerless. If it's possible, try to be more assertive in your waking life. Make your wants and needs known, and don't settle for less that you deserve.
Blessings,
J
