there's this girl who I've went to school with for 9 years. we've seen each other everyday, and we were the best of friends. when we were older, I discovered my feelings for her. many had told me that she had felt the same but I never brought myself to ask her out. a year had gone by and I was still in the same situation. we drifted off and hadn't talked for a period of time and as our eventual seperation into highschool had come, I was desperate to tell her how I felt. when I did, she was no longer interested. high school is starting soon and we will now be separated but I still feel strongly for her. I've had reoccuring dreams of us together, and the most recent, she had asked me to hold her hand. does this mean she might still have some sort of feelings for me? or is this an act of desperation for my mind to keep me happy. an interpretation is much appreciated.
