hi i'm new, i had the freakiest dream last night and it's been bothering me all day!
it was a lovely sunny day. i was living where i used to live, but working in the same shop i do now, and i went into work but my boss told me everyone had to line up outside. i didnt understand what was going on, so she tells me it was in all the papers, about a poem that was written years ago depicting that day to be doomsday. she couldn't believe i dodnt know about it. she wouldn't tell me what the poem was, and i told her that i hope it's nothing to do with the bible as i don't believe a word of it, and it would be typical if my fate rested on my belief. my partner turns up and we laugh about all the goings on but i tell him i have to go and stand in line with the rest of my work mates. my son is with me by then tho he was a lot younger in this dream and my daughter wasn't there. my partner walks away not taking any notice of all the lines and crowds. i then see my sister and have to stop the bus i am on ( i dont know how i got on a bus, it was just 'there'. my partner is also on the bus, and the bus is at the same place we had been standing just before and wasnt moving, tho i had to ring the bell to get off.) so i got off, leaving my partner on the bus, and spoke to her about it. she didnt believe it either, but i convince her to stand in line with me just so i can chat with her. i then notice the clouds which were lovely and white had started to turn black, thinking it was just a storm on the way i turned and looked at the clouds behind us. they were all turning black, and behind us were (very dr who-ish lol) little men? well something anyway, armies of them all marching behind us. they didnt say anything, they all looked the same and had looked rather plastic. they weren't scary but it was very frightening and we started to run to catch everyone up as everyone was walking ahead and we were lagging behind.
then i woke up.
this poem is bugging me, i wish i'd have bought a newspaper in my dream so i would know what it was!
does anyone know what it all means?

Sunny Day - Warmth, vitality, conscious awareness, positive feelings about 'the self'(body, mind and spirit), and relaxation.
Alternately, it could suggest that you feel the need for these things in your life.

Where you used to live - whether it's your old house, or the town where you lived, it represents things the way they used to be. If you were fond of that prior place, it represents a longing or a need for things to be as they were. If you didn't like that prior place in your life, it suggests that something in your current life is bringing up old memories, possibly hurtful, or unhappy feelings.

Work - represents concerns or issues connected with your work....including a 'job' you need to do at home. It suggests that you are experiencing some anxiety about a current project or task. The dream may also be telling you that you need to 'get back to work'. Perhaps you feel you have been slacking, and need to pick up the pace.

Boss - represents an authority figure, or an authoritative(masculine) side of your own personality possibly depicting an attitude on your part of being 'too bossy'.

Newspaper - represents something that is 'news to you', or you have just become, or need to be aware of, something going on in your daily life, also represents something publicly known about yourself.

Unaware(of poem/information) - points towards the part of the newspaper symbolism that deals with you needing to be aware of something in your daily, waking life.

Doomsday/Apocalypse(End of the World) - Depicts the powerful, threatening, and uncertain inner and outer changes that accompany major life transitions, and social changes. The transition from childhood to adolescence, for instance, is the end of the world that existed for the whole lifetime of the individual, up until that point.
Such points of transition happen several times in the life of anyone who chooses to grow and adapt. Menopause for women, children growing up an leaving your house(for a parent), Moving out of your parents house(for a young adult), the loss of a job, retirement, loss of a loved one, loss of health...etc., can all be represented by the end of the world, or a world.
Your partner - it's common to incorporate family members, or loved ones, in our dreams. They play a huge part in your waking life, so it's natural to see them taking part in your dreams. The important part of the symbolization is in their actions, or words. That he walked away from you in the dream, suggests that you sometimes feel as though you don't have his support in things that matter to you.

Laughing - symbolizes release of tension, an attempt to put others at ease, feeling embarrassed by some aspect of yourself, takings things lightly, attempt to hide the truth, also sometimes used to hide tears or sadness.

Standing in a line - suggests you feel some sort of delay with something in your waking life. Alternately, your subconscious could be telling you that you need to show more patience... to be prepared to wait for something and not have it right away.

Son - because he was a younger version may signify your ideals, hopes, potential, and the youthful(immature male) aspect of yourself. On the other hand, to see your son in your dream might not have any significance and is simply mirroring your waking life from earlier times. The dream 'son', may also be a play on the word "sun".

Sister - symbolizes some aspect of your relationship with her, whether it one of sibling rivalry, feelings of kinship, caring, protectiveness, etc. Your sister may draw attention to your family role and sense of belonging. Also may represent qualities that you recognize within your own personality, or would like to.
An older sister represents the capable feeling self, and feelings of persecution.
A younger sister represents your own experiences at that age, also feelings of vulnerability, and rivalry for the love of the parents.

Bus:
Vehicles - All vehicles symbolize(in the language of mind) a means for experience. The use of the vehicle will give indications of the type of experience being related in the dream message.
A bus represents experiences, undertakings or relationships with groups of people, direction taken in company with others, trying to get somewhere but depending on others, and also problems pertaining to being overweight.
Stopping the bus and getting off would suggest you feel the need to stop being dependent on others. That you may want to 'break away' from group thinking, and do things on your own. If you are overweight, it could suggest that you want to change, or lose weight.

Storm Clouds - Clouds are made of air and water, two of the four basic elements. Some would say that the soul is represented by air and spirit by water.
Your positive energy and idealism could be represented by bright, fluffy white clouds in a clear sky. Also represents aspirations that you can attain if you work at them. A lot of such clouds imply that you feel success and happiness in romance.
Dark, stormy clouds indicate you feel trouble ahead. And they represent your more negative personal characteristics, private thoughts, and darker moods.
Clouds obscuring the sun indicate circumstances in your life that you either don't know how to deal with or that seem worse than they are.

Storm - a storm itself, represents a release of anger, emotional outbursts, feeling battered by events or emotions, an argument with someone, and difficulties.
To feel a storm is approaching suggests a sense of difficult times ahead, building emotions, such as anger or passion that you feel about someone, or something, but you haven't expressed them yet.
If a storm passes, and you're still safe, it suggests you feel you'll get past the trouble with few if any complications. But if the storm gets out of control, your subconscious is telling you that action must be taken immediately in order to prevent your situation from getting worse.

Army - some form of conflict.. internal or otherwise, the forces or qualities you muster to deal with difficulties...(honor, courage, information, aggression or anger), and attitudes necessary to face, or deal with anxieties.

Soldiers - masculine aspect, discipline. Determining own direction. That they were 'plastic looking' suggests you feel there is some aspect of your life, within this symbolization, that you feel is 'fake', or artificial. (IE: pretending you have will power, self-discipline, or bravery, in front of others.)
That they all looked the same suggests you're exhibiting the behavior mentioned above to 'go along' with others, to be part of a group....to fit in.

Feeling frightened - signifies temporary and fleeting worries within your daily life..

Running - suggests something, or someone, in your life is difficult to face, and you would rather run away from it than face it. Trying to catch up to others suggests you fear being left alone to face a situation on your own. That there is 'safety in numbers'.
Alternately, it could suggest that you feel as though you are always trying to 'catch up' to others in your waking life....that you feel that you are never 'on the same page' as everyone else.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Have you been feeling as though you need to start acting on your own rather than do things because everyone else is?
Is there a difficult situation you're facing and you want to try to do it alone, but you're afraid you'll fail?
Do you have an unexpressed emotion with someone in your daily life?
Do you feel the need to lose weight, or change some personal aspect of your life, but fear that you will be ridiculed, or that you won't have the support you need to achieve your goal?
Do you feel there is something in your waking life that you're missing out on, or something you feel the need to know?
Have you been feeling that you'd like to have things back the way they used to be,...a longing for the past?
Do you feel as though some part of your life is ending, or wish it were...a bad job or relationship?
Do you feel like you are falling behind others in areas of education, job advancements, or that you don't feel up-to-date in your home, or work life?
Do you feel at odds with yourself or others in your daily life?
Do you feel under a lot of stress, but you are hiding it from others around you?
I hope this gives you some insight...good luck!
