I had a dream last night that involved my step dad trying to murder me and my brother, I was tied to a railing, and my brother was put in a very small chest, while both tortured with various instruments and hit repeatedly.

We then both escaped but he was threatening my brother with a gun while my mum was screaming at him to stop. All of a sudden he put the gun down took out a knife and slit his own throat, falling to the floor and bleeding to death.

When this happened I grabbed my brother and turned him away so he didn't have to watch. I remember distinctly there was no feeling of sorrow for my step dad just a great concern for the effect it was going to have on my brother...
