This happens to me quite often in my life:
I'll dream of a particular place I have never been to or seen in my life before.  In my waking life, time passes and the memory of the dream slowly fades.  Weeks, or months, or even years down the road, I'll come across some new place I've never before been, like in a new state or something.  Then it hits me like a bolt of lightning - "I've seen this exact house, or land, (or whatever it may be) in my dream!!"  I feel a lot of comfort, as my entire body somehow feels familiar with this new environment that in my waking life, I have never been to or seen before.
My mom's always told me that deja vu means "you're on the right track in life."  I know there's a lot of scientific brain theories on the topic, but I'm curious of what your opinions/thoughts may be, and if anyone else experiences this as frequently/more than me.
Thanks!

I agrees with you all and especially "sally1500." I have also had this my whole life, and sometimes I would be right there in a dream and it would happen a month later; tru stroy with my first jobs and some other things that happened in my life. It was like I was walking into a repeat , if that make any sense. Lately I have had it allot. I live in Florida and its been raining allot here, due to hurricane season and I have had allot of deja'vus. Very weird and its like now I would talk and then it would happen like some is fitting into place. I am so glad someone else has the same feeling. Weird that I came across this, just yesterday I had one talking to a co-worker. I really dont know what it means but I also experience other paranormal things , but I dont think I will ever understand this stuff, but whatever !  lol  Cheesy

I also have deja vu, but it scares me because it is always when i am talking to someone. i will have the same conversation that i drempt about. and it tends to freeze me. So here is my oppinion on some deja vu things.... Some people are always wishing that they can go back and redo something.... well, what if that is our chance? we get a worning that it is gona happen, so maybe there is something that we can do to change what we wish that we can change. its our minds way of going back in the past and changing the regrets, or worning us of whats to come to prepare us and get us back on the right track... if any of that made sence.... but thats my basic oppinion. i believe that the human mind is cabable of so many grate things, we just have to unlock them. and deja vu is probably our unknowing way of looking into the future and predicting whats to come.
