this morning my husband told me he was disturbed about his dream last night.
It was a combination of things:
1. I was telling him I needed to visit cousins that lived somewhere that I don't have family, almost as though I was finding an excuse to leave home. I was apparently acting very suspicious.
2. He had this wound on his elbow that was full of pus Huh The more he squeezed the more puss he could see coming out. It even had the eggs of maggots in the pus and eventually he squeezed and was able to see his bone
3.A man walked up to him and told him that we would get "money" by Wednesday.
We are in a bit of a financial squeeze right now, I hope the guy is right.

Please help us figure this out

Being in a bad financial way could cause him to feel as though he's failing in his 'family duties'. Thus, making him feel as though you might want to leave him.
The injury represents hurts, or events that may have led to emotional scars, internalized anger or aggression, attitudes or memories that are emotionally painful, body situations that are developing...possibly out of internal stress or grief...but are still only subliminal. The puss represents an infection, that something is in dire need of healing, that something has gone badly.

The man predicting money was wish fulfillment. This is stemming from your financial bind.

If you live in the U.S, and depending on your tax status, and last 2 digits of your s.s.number....the economic stimulus checks are beginning to be electronically sent.
More info on that can be found here:http://www.irs.gov/irs/article/0,,id=177937,00.html

I hope this helps!

Thank you!! It makes sense.
Guess what? Last night I dreamt my dead grandparents..we were at a river (we live in a valley area near streams) and my grandmother was shooting for fun, she shot a guy and bruised him in the knee. The bruise however was deep just as the one my husband described, no puss though.

The scene moves to the kitchen in my parent's house and my grandfather is talking about famous singers that he has met and that he wishes I had gone with him to meet them and get there autographs. I am dishing food for him and my cousins but that part is very vague.

I know it may seem to vague but it concerns me that I dreamt the same sore (maybe I thought about it alot yesterday) but with my dead maternal grandparents (BOTH!!!)

Thanks for your help

I think your hubby's dream on your mind caused the similar type wound element of your dream.

The river is water and represents the flowing of emotions and energy.

The elderly represent patience, wisdom, and experience. Usually when they appear in dreams, it suggests that you are wanting guidance and advice.

Family in a dream represent security, and support.

The kitchen representsthe heart of the house, and for most families, the kitchen is a place of warmth and nourishment (emotional as well as physical). Also symbolizes the 'mother role'..( pride in the ability, or a wish for the ability, to create a home and contribute something valuable to the family).
As a symbol for your emotional life, this is a place where you can be creative.
The kitchen almost always reflects the need to work through your current situation using your heart rather than your head.

Hope this gives some insight.
Hugs,
J
