My name is Mayi

Could anyone interpret this dream for me as I had this dream several times now.

I dreamt that I was in my bungalow looking through the patio doors from my living room in the garden at a bird house which was made out of turf.  The bird house was emburied into the fence but you had to look to really see it.  You could see small brown bats in the bird house and another big brown bat, which look like the mother bat flew down and covered the little bats with one of her wings pushing them inside the bird house.

I then could see a large hedgehog with little hedgehog between her, which I remember thinking in my dream that she was protecting her little ones.

Thanks

Your bungalow(house) - A house usually always represents you, or rather 'the self'...your body and the attributes of your personality:
They symbolize our emotional and psychological selves. All of your experiences, stages of development, and parts of your conscious and unconscious life may be represented by that house. The house may be representing issues concerning a particular dilemma in your life, or it may be more general and comprehensive. Either way, if you pay attention to the details in this dream, you may learn a thing or two about yourself.

Livingroom - symbolizes personal leisure, space to 'be yourself', and day-to-day life.

Looking out patio doors - Patio doors represent the merging of your mental and spiritual state. To dream that the doors to the patio are opened, represents your receptive state of mind. If they are closed, then it indicates that you are not being opened to a situation.
To add to the representation of patio doors which are part door, and part window:
Windows represent your points of view, perspectives and glimpses of insight.
Doors symbolize opportunities.

Garden - may be metaphors for your perception of your life. Well-ordered or overrun, productive or dying on the vine, such dream images reflect how we feel about ourselves.

Bird house - represents home, family enviornment, and security. It suggests that you see your home as your own spiritual haven. You may need to pay more attention to your spiritual side and work on developing it. Also, it symbolizes the season of spring.

Turf(grass) - represents continuing growth.

'Hidden' in the fence:
Hidden things in a dream should be sought, caught, or identified. They almost certainly represent something your conscious ego needs - probably some repressed function or quality.
A fence represents a barrier in you feel in your waking life, either physical and or psychological.

Bats - Most bats are nocturnal predators and just thinking about these mysterious creatures gives most people a squeemish feeling (unless you are a bat lover, which is rare). Bats may be considered mysterious and unpredictable. The bat is also a symbol of the dark side of a dreamer's personality. But at the same time a bat is a symbol of a free will,  and freedom since it has wings.
Most bats have poor eyesight, but they have an excellent sense of direction. This suggests that your subconscious is telling you that you are using more intuition, rather than logic, and you might be 'blind' to something in your waking life.

Hedgehogs - represents the sort of response we sometimes have of being easily hurt by situations, people's remarks, or their actions. It could also suggest being very prickly, easily offended or irritated, a recall or reminder of memories that create pain, irritation, or uncomfortable feelings. A part of oneself that easily withdraws...but can react by lashing out, or hurting others.
Feeling she is in 'the protection mode' suggests you feel the need for protection.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Has someone said something hurtful to you recently?
Could you have said something hurtful and now regret it?
Were you, in some way, reminded of a painful memory, or situation?
Do you feel as though your 'space' has been intruded upon by someone, or something?
Have you been feeling insecure for any reason?
Hope this gives you some insight. Best of Luck!
