Heh since I'm still clueless about my own dreams, and this one is quite scary, I'd like your opinion. I'm in a place where a woman is forced by others to give birth to her baby! She is screaming, but arms are going around her belly "squeezing" her, and I'm a witness, I see the baby come out and there's a lot of confusion. Somehow, the baby is alive! It's a girl... and I look at her face, she looks a lot like her mom. I perceive a strong will to live from that baby. So my wild rage at those people for forcing the baby out diminishes, and I say to myself, "well, if the baby lives it's not all so bad".
   What's that?...

As far as I can tell, there seems to be three major parts of this dream:
Woman giving birth (Birth)
Giving Birth or Witnessing a Birth usually symbolises a new idea or project, a new beginning, or a future event.
Woman forced to give birth (sacrifice)
The fact that the woman is forced to give birth brings strongly reminds me of the idea of sacrifice.  Dreams of sacrifice usually involve having to give up parts of ourselves in order to advance onward.  This woman giving birth is a part of you that can't go any further.
Baby who heavily resembles mother (rebirth)
The baby, from your description, brings to mind the idea of rebirth.  She strongly resembles her mother, and she has a powerful spirit.  When you see the baby, you understand the necessity of what happened and you are no longer angry at those who forced it to happen.
This dream seems to strongly tie in with religious notions: ideas of life, death, and rebirth.  I hope that this is helpful for you.

Yes it helps. Anything helps. It makes a wry sense. What I understand is that the process itself of "changing" or "rebirth" was-is not easy. Why on Earth aren't I able to understand at all my dreams? This isn't that hard (once you've mentioned it). I just don't get it. Maybe I just take it too personally... I should be able to see as much as you've said. But I don't.

You make it sound easier than it was.  I'm still learning and had to look some of the symbols up.  I'm less certain about the people forcing the birth, but I think that they represent the external forces in your life that are making this transformation happen.  You might resent them now, but when it's finished you will understand why it happened.

I'm TRYING to stay away from word interpretations as much as I can, because once I've read it its like my mind is mudded into one meaning only and I can't see the big picture anymore.

well, the word interpretations are just guides, they aren't really direct to the point, it all depends on how you see it. it's hard to explain. anyway here's and example:

I used to dream that i saw a book entitled "the purple is too thick on the rainbow above."

Purple is the color of a happy social life, with lots of good friends.
And rainbows mean having very little to worry about.
And books mean a slow, but steady progress, and a calm pleasant life ahead.

saying the 'purple is too thick' means that i'm spending too much time with 'friends'  well actually i don't have much friends as in physical friends, but what i consider my friend is my work. that may mean that i'm spending too much time on work.

i hope you understand what i mean. each person has a different perception towards everything. it is still upon us to adapt to that word, and what it means to us.

Rubio & Arzie are spot on.
Sometimes when we are in a situation we're 'too close' to make a sound judgement or rationalization. We're either too hard on ourselves, or not hard enough. We should be able to 'take a step back' and view it as a third party. It's easy for an 'outsider' to see the problem, because they see the whole picture. They're not so close that they can only see one aspect.
And ...LOL about the word interpretations. That's why I like to use the word 'suggests', or 'implies', a lot. No meaning is 'set in stone', as it were. Just a few representations to get a person to think along 'other' lines. Ones that are different than the ones that are point blank obvious.

I look up a lot of 'meanings'. And because there are so many that differ, I take them ALL into consideration. Then, I choose the one that more closely relates to the dream, or siutation, at hand. If they all could have a correlation to the dream, I list them all.
Some items or aspects, of a dream don't have to be looked up. I think about how it makes me feel or how it would make others feel. Like 'free association'.
When Arzie said, "...each person has a different perception towards everything. it is still upon us to adapt to that word, and what it means to us."...he said it perfectly.

Ok neat, but MORE TO THE POINT, I have this urge to interpret dreams the WAY I LIKE IT instead of what I REALLY feel about them LOL

I know what you mean...that's why I said: Sometimes when we are in a situation we're 'too close' to make a sound judgement or rationalization. We're either too hard on ourselves, or not hard enough."
We tend to 'interpret' our own dreams to be 'in our favor'. Probably because we don't want to face what's REALLY bothering us. We don't want to admit, or claim fault,...especially if it IS our fault.
But when it's pointed out to us, it makes us aware that others see it as well, and it forces us to 'accept' it.

Yes I'm sometimes in love with my ego and other times I like to whine. And generally it takes me very long to take some action, to do what must be done, hence the confusion in my life, hence the dreams I have Cheesy LOL
