hi im new to this so I don't really know what im doing. but the other night I had a dream I was walking outside holding a new born baby and it was mine but it was dead. the baby was really light in colour and I was crying a lot. so much that I couldn't stop. then my little 3 year old brother was trying to walk up stairs next to me and the baby but there was a stair missing. im really confused and really want to know what this dream means! it scares me because me and my partner are trying for a baby and I've already had one misscarriage in the past.

Usually when we see other family members in our dreams, it's to depict an aspect of our 'self'. More-so than a representation of the person themself.

To see a baby in your dream, signifies innocence, warmth and new beginnings. Babies may symbolize something in your own inner nature which is pure, vulnerable, and/or uncorrupted. To dream of a crying baby, is indicative of a part of yourself that is deprived of attention and needs some nurturing. Alternatively, it represents your unfulfilled goals and a sense of lacking in your life. To dream about a starving baby, represents your dependence on others. You are experiencing some deficiency in your life that needs immediate attention and gratification. To see a dead baby in your dream, symbolizes the ending of something that is part of you. But because of your past experience, dreaming of the dead baby may be maternal and signify your desire to become pregnant, and your fear of another miscarriage.

The stairs represent taking steps towards something, gaining a skill, or facing a challenge. Stairs are difficult when we are children, and probably remain as a challenge, danger, and achievement in adulthood. The missing step is your fear to continue on.

To see your brother in your dream, may symbolize some aspect of your relationship with him. It can also serve to remind you, that you, or  someone in your waking life has certain characteristics/behaviour similar to your brother's.

I know it's hard, but try to relax, and not think about the negative past. Take a positive step towards the future and a new beginning. I know the pain you feel. I have 4 kids, but I miscarried 3 times, (1 between my first and second child, and 1 between my third and fourth child.. and lost the unborn twin to my third child).  You will never forget, but don't let it hang over you and cause you to fear another attempt. Every child needs loving parents, and I think there's a little one out there just waiting for you to become his, or her, Momma.

I hope I've helped you, and put your mind at ease.
Good luck and Brightest Blessings!
