Im not sure where this takes place but Im searching through an old handbag one day and I find about 100 ecstasy tablets in my there. I panic and want to get rid of them but then i remember someone who could just take them and get them off my hands. I call her up and she comes around and while Im waiting for her to arrive, two police arrive at my door.  In the dream I am seriously freaked out.  I try to get get rid of them but I find everytime I do, I freeze up and cant move.  The cops come inside and I have put the bag under my bed.  They are sitting around talking to me and it seems like hours that they are there.  Both are female cops.  I end up painting one of the cops finger nails as we are chatting like old friends and Im thinking that they wont go looking for tablets and there is no cause for worry.  I messed up the painting of one of the  finger nails up so Im trying to find nail polish remover and the other cop starts to look under the bed.  She goes straight to that handbag and opens it.  She finds the tablets and radios in to bring more police.  I try to explain I dont know whose they are and that I dont use them but she just smiles at me and ignores my plees.  They then go away and tell me they will be back.  In the dream I am feeling ill with worry and cant think straight.  I start going through my other bags and each one I find there are more and more.  By this time there are several police outside my unit and one of them comes to the door with my cell phone in his hand saying that "this number has been ringing you constantly"  Its my friend who is coming around to take the pills off me and she has left a message saying she has been waiting for me downstairs for over an hour.  Then another friend who i havent seen for years appears at the front door, he said he wants some too.  I am very confused by this stage as I cant understand how he knew I had them. He has never met my other friend.  There are cops everywhere and I am trying to hand the angry friend a handful of the pills without the police seeing me to keep her from being upset.  She sneaks out of the unit with the pills but is stopped by more police on the corner.  I get arrested and I am sitting in a cell at the police station for the rest of the dream.  My family are notified and they are so ashamed and upset at everything going on.  I just wanted to curl up and die.  In my dream I am wishing all of it was just a dream and I could wake up.  I am then put in a police van and I am sitting in a court room.  The trial goes on all day.  The judge grants me an easy sentence being my first offence and I am under house arrest for minimum 5 years.    The dream ends with me sitting in my bedroom looking out with four police and two dogs sitting outside my house.  I realise I cannot leave it ever.  End of dream.

It sounds like your soul is dealing with a massive amount of guilt, and you are unable to find a way to get rid of it.  The ecstasy pills could symbolize something that you did that gave you pleasure at the time (ecstasy), but now is creating a guilt problem for you.

You might not be dealing with this problem in your waking life, so your dream is trying to deal with it at the sleeping level.  That's why you have so much of the drug, and it keeps coming.  In other words, this problem is not just going to go away.

Handbag-- for a woman this represents her identity.  You find something in an old handbag.  This tells me that there's something from your past that you're dealing with.

Police-- these are parts of your soul that are searching for truth. They could also represent your conscience.  I think you have repressed your feelings about this topic, or you are in denial about its effect, but the soul knows better.  It is actually a good thing if we don't allow ourselves to live in denial, even though these police scare you.  Truth, and bringing things to the LIght, are the fastest ways towards healing.

Getting a call on a cell phone-- this is a strong symbol that someone is trying to send you a message.  I think the two friends who are offering to take the drugs off your hands represent forgiveness (from God), but you are unable to receive this message of forgiveness because you are too panicked, and the police (your conscience) are too strong.  You feel like you could never deserve forgiveness.

Being on house arrest-- this tells me that you feel doomed to keep a secret, and your freedom is limited.

Am I close?  Maybe I'm way off.  This is just my two cents.
