Wednesday April 23 I dreamed that I was visiting a home (didn't know who they were) while there I saw someone take a lamb while still alive a put it thru a meat grinder than when I turned around to run there was a child cutting open a woman on the floor!  There was blood everywhere.

Friday April 25 I had a similiar dream.  I was being chase by a man who wanted to hurt me everywhere I turned he was there.  At one point I was running thru a hospital (hiding in different rooms), I saw him laying on the floor and I cut off one foot!!! and stuffed it in the  disposal.  Next thing I know the police were investigating and they found the man's entire body chopped up in the sink where I had stuff the foot.

This is so bizarre, I never have dreams like this, that I can remember! and I do not watch horror movies, I'm 50 years old.   I'm desperate to find out what it means.  If anyone has any idea and can interperate it for me I will truly appreciate it.

Thanks

House - A house usually always represents you, or rather 'the self'...your body and the attributes of your personality:
They symbolize our emotional and psychological selves. All of your experiences, stages of development, and parts of your conscious and unconscious life may be represented by that house. The house may be representing issues concerning a particular dilemma in your life, or it may be more general and comprehensive.
Unknown house - suggests aspects of yourself you are not familiar with, and new experiences.

Lamb - a symbol of sacrifice, innocence, tenderness, warmth, love, and purity. If you dream of a lamb, this dream may be a sign that you are too good-natured and you need to become firmer and more assertive. Seeing a lamb being slaughtered suggests that your reaction to a current problem, or situation, is not heartless as it seems.

Child - The child in your dream could represent your inner self, or the child within. Alternately, it could suggest that you, or someone else in your life, is acting in a childlike manner (ie:: fits of temper like a child, being dependent on others for your own wellbeing...etc.).

Unknown Woman - represents an unknown aspect of yourself. (* see below)

(Woman is)Being cut open - suggests a vital change being made in yourself or your life, an emergency of emotional or physical nature, or the release of deeply buried feelings or tension.

Blood -  Life's energy source. Love, passion, anger, and life itself...a vital part of our physiology and it may symbolize our strengths and weaknesses and our physical, emotional, and/or spiritual energy health. If you are currently experiencing a very difficult time in your life, you may have dreams with bloody and frightening images. Don't worry, you may just be venting your fears, and emotions.
------------------------------------------------------
Being Chased - In this dreams like this, you are usually being chased by some villains, monsters, or unknown people who wish to harm you. But often these pursuers represent current tensions, or issues. This dream usually shows the level of stress you have at the moment, and is a signal to take control over the worries and resolve issues with a clear head.
Alternately, you might be trying to avoid something. Identifying what, or who, the chaser represents might clarify what you're trying to avoid. If the person or thing chasing you is identifiable as a part of yourself, the dream might involve a fear from within, such as an unhealthy relationship or unhealthy behavior.

Running Away - suggests something, or someone, in your life is difficult to face, and that you would rather run away from it than face it.

Hospital - symbolizes a need for for care, healing, and recovery. It could be physical, psychological, emotional or spiritual healing that is needed.

Hiding - suggests the unwillingness to face something, or situation in your waking life. In daily life we hide from things that we don't want to deal with or we hide from danger. If you are hiding out of danger, then you should consider those things in your life that you feel propose a threat to you. They could be internal forces or environmental conditions. Generally, we attempt to hide our own negativity and mistakes. This dream may call for an honest reflection on personal characteristics and an evaluation of how much fear influences our lives and decision-making.

*Unknown man, and unknown woman:
Strangers - Sometimes, strangers in your dreams represent different, known and unknown, aspects of yourself. They are extensions and projections of your own subconscious, and personality. We learn about ourselves through others, and probably our most valuable possessions are our relationships.
If these people are totally unrecognizable (they don't remind you of anyone you know), then they would represent different aspects of yourself.
Human beings, male and female alike, are curious, questioning, and have a need for information, and spiritual expansion. We all have masculine and feminine aspects, or sides to our subconscious.
The masculine aspects would be the part of ourselves that we view as brave, strong, stubbornness, authoritative, logical...etc.
The feminine aspects would be the part of ourselves that we view as emotional, nurturing, tender, yielding, sensitive...etc.
When we dream, all the different parts of our 'inner selves' interact, and 'come alive', as though they were different people.

Foot/Feet - represents foundation, balance in life, a fundamental issue in your life.
Loss of a foot or feet suggests feeling incapacitated in making moves or being unable to be independent or self-motivated.

Disposal - suggests the feeling, or the need to be rid of something in your life.

Police - symbolize authority, support, and protection. Your emotional response to them in the dream will provide you with good clues to interpreting this dream symbol accurately.
If the police are chasing you, or you feel fear and anxiety where the police are concerned, it suggests that you may be feeling some guilt about something that you have done or have been thinking of doing. The police could be addressing 'Karmic Law' as well as the laws in our physical world. If you are feeling that you can't meet all of your obligations, and fear repercussions due to an unmet commitment in your waking life, the police may be an unwelcome sight.
If you felt relief because the police were arriving, it suggests that you feel the need for protection, support, or assistance with a current problem somewhere in your waking life.

Man chopped up in sink:
Violence and graphic images -  represents the facets of personality that never get displayed in waking life, and can become quite animated. Nowhere is this more apparent than with violent behavior. The violence may be justified or random, and it is usually extremely graphic. It is so graphic, in fact, that you should understand that this is normal, although upsetting, and that it's presence is almost always an exaggeration of another point, and is a way for your subconscious to vent anger, and physical aggression.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Are you facing an emotional, or physical upheaval in your current waking life?
Do you feel as though you are too forgiving, and are now being taken advantage of?...or that you are sacrificing something, or some part of yourself to make someone else happy?
Have you been feeling the need for 'healing' within some emotional, or physical area of your life?
Have you been told you are being childish about something?
Are you angry at someone, or some situation?
Did you say something in anger, and now feel you may have overreacted?
Are you facing something which is making you feel you have no options, or making you feel as though you don't have 'solid footing'?
Hope this helps to allay some of your fear.
Hugs & Hope,
J
Thank you so much! A lot of your responses make sense.  I appreciate you taking the time to grab each frightening moment in my dreams and make sense of it.  I feel a little better now and more at ease.
Thank you again for taking the time to respond.  I truly appreciate it.
No trouble Evy, glad to help. Dreams are powerful little mind movies, and the images they portray can be so frightening. Makes it hard to get to sleep for fear of another nightmare. Knowing what they mean gives you a sense of power, and some satisfaction.
Sweet Dreams,
