Female friend - a feminine side of 'the self' that you acknowledge, or are aware of. ( We all have a masculine and a feminine side. The masculine side would be the part of ourselves that we view as brave, strong, stubborn, logical...etc. The feminine side would be the part of ourselves that we view as emotional, nurturing, tender, sensitive etc.) Also could be an attribute of your friend that you identify with, or see within yourself.
Back - symbolizes strength, moral fiber, physical confidence, decisiveness, the ability to stand in the face of opposition, power to endure and face life's uncertainties without being overcome, or overwhelmed. The ability to handle stress well.
Pain - depicts tensions arising in yourself from living in conflict with your basic needs of feelings. Because the pain is on the back suggests that you are 'putting up' with a situation within the symbols for the back.(ie: someone treating you as though you are not capable of standing up for yourself, or that you're 'helpless')
Hair is highly valued by most cultures. It is symbol of vanity, security, sensuality, sexual appeal, and of youth. In some cultures women are not allowed to show their hair outside their homes. Wealthy men go through painful surgery and spend thousands of dollars to replace lost hair follicles. Needless to say, hair is a valuable dream symbol. It represents physical and spiritual strength. Samson's hair was the source of his strength and virility. In our dreams hair can represent our thoughts, knowledge, and reasoning. White or gray hair represents age and wisdom while body hair may symbolize protection and warmth. When interpreting this dream make attempts to identify a primary issue and connect it to a situation in your daily life.
Long thick hair - freedom, luxury, independence, seduction, sensuality, vanity, and health.
Pulling out a hair(where you don't normally have hair) - suggests that you feel the need to remove something, or that you feel the loss of something in your waking life.
Tan - a lighter version of brown. ...therefore would suggest similar aspects and feelings of brown, but not as 'intense'. (Brown - an earthly color and may, therefore, symbolize the instinctive or the sensuous. Also an autumnal color and as such may signify a feeling of decline; low spirits or depression.
Black - the color of the subconscious, of sinking into the darkness, or mourning. Black is masculine; it is the color of night. Black stands for limitation, hidden things, despair, depression, things that are considered 'taboo', conservatism, old age, melancholy and sacrifice(the giving up of things to make you, or someone else happy), your shadow (an aspect of your personality that is hidden, unknown and/or repressed within your subconscious mind). ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Have you been feeling a loss of freedom, or finances(income)? Are you 'putting up' with a situation in order to 'keep the peace'...or to keep others happy, while sacrificing you own feelings in the process? Are you trying to conform to something another person wants, but in doing do, they are neglecting your needs or desires?(To be something or someone you're not). Has someone said something to you recently that suprised you by actually being able to hurt your feelings? Have you been accused of being something you're not?
Hope this gives you some insight. Best wishes!!
