At first it is killing you just on an emotional level but eventually the true Self can see this negative way of thinking killing you more physically. (I can see him getting closer and closer to me in the room) You seem unable to warn yourself about this matter.

[What this scene can be referring to is a way of speaking that many people carelessly use without figuring in its consequences. People often say, ?it?s killing me? that this or that is happening, or that it will just kill me if this or that happens. Words have power and when this expression is acted out in picture form, this dream scene is its picture. What people mean by this expression is that something will be emotionally devastating to them. The problem is that by using this expression one is not demonstrating to the Lord that they understand the meaning of their words. When someone is killed in the real world it is not simply an emotional devastation but a lasting death. You never want your words to catch up to you in real life. Be careful of expressions.]
